There are about 36633 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in France. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate whether selonsertib (SEL; GS-4997) can cause fibrosis regression and reduce associated complications in adults with cirrhosis due to NASH.
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate whether selonsertib (SEL; GS-4997) can cause fibrosis regression and reduce progression to cirrhosis and associated complications in adults with NASH and bridging (F3) fibrosis.
This is a multicenter, open-label (OL) extension study to obtain additional long-term safety data for subcutaneous (sc) administration of reslizumab treatment administered at a fixed dose of 110 mg in patients 12 years of age and older with severe eosinophilic asthma who completed the treatment period of a placebo-controlled Phase 3 trial of sc reslizumab. The study consists of a screening/baseline visit followed by a 36-week OL treatment period and a 15-week follow-up period.
The role of disorders of socio-emotional processes in cerebral diseases such as Alzheimer's disease, frontal temporal dementia, Parkinson's disease, Huntington's disease, traumatic brain injury, stroke, focal lesions, has been recognized recently. Social cognition refers to a large group of emotional and cognitive abilities regulating inter-individuals relationships and it includes mainly theory of mind, emotional information processing and empathy. However, assessment of socio-emotional processes is still largely based on experimental tests that are not validated for clinical purpose. In addition their long duration of administration is not adapted to clinical examination. Finally these tests have not been standardized and normalized in French-speaking population.
This study was a 2-treatment period, randomized, multicenter parallel-group study. The overall purpose of this study was to provide long- term safety data for fevipiprant (QAW039) (Dose 1 and Dose 2), compared with placebo, when added to the Global Initiative for Asthma (GINA) steps 3, 4, and 5 standard-of-care (SoC) asthma therapy (GINA 2016), in patients with moderate-to- severe asthma. The purpose of this study was to provide long-term safety data for QAW039 150 mg once daily and 450 mg once daily, compared with placebo, when added to GINA steps 3, 4, and 5 standard-of-care asthma therapy (GINA 2020) in adult and adolescent (≥12 years) patients with moderate-to-severe asthma. The study included 2 cohorts of patients: 1. Rollover patients who had completed any of the four Phase 3 pivotal efficacy studies with QAW039 (QAW039A2307, QAW039A2314, QAW039A2316, or QAW039A2317, hereafter referred to as Studies A2307, A2314, A2316, and A2317), thus providing data for a longer duration of exposure, and 2. New patients who had not previously participated in a study of QAW039, permitting an increase in the number of patients with long-term exposure to QAW039. By including these 2 categories of patients, the total number of patients treated with QAW039 as well as the duration of exposure to QAW039 treatment was substantially increased, supporting evaluation of the safety profile of QAW039.
During this study, we propose to assess the utility of Continuous Glucose Measurements (CGM) in a group of Type 1 diabetic patients treated with an implanted insulin pump. Patients will participate in two period of 3 months separated by a 3 months washout. During one period, they will use CGM to adapt their insulin therapy while during the other period, they will manage their diabetes with their usual capillary blood glucose meter. We except to observe an increase of time spent in glucose safe range when using CGM.
Lexical semantic disorders are described in Alzheimer's disease, and their incidence in everyday life is important to the extent that these disorders affect expression and comprehension. Providing a tactile tablet stimulation, independent and complementary to speech therapy, could help to maintain certain abilities and reinforce the feeling of autonomy of the patients.
This was a study to investigate the potential clinical benefit of trilaciclib (G1T28) in preserving the bone marrow and the immune system, and enhancing antitumor efficacy when administered with carboplatin, etoposide, and atezolizumab (E/P/A) therapy in first line treatment for patients with newly diagnosed extensive-stage SCLC. The study was a randomized, double-blinded, placebo-controlled design. Approximately, 100 patients were randomized to trilaciclib + E/P/A or placebo + E/P/A in the study.
This study investigated whether fosmetpantotenate (RE-024), a phosphopantothenate replacement therapy, was safe and effective in treating participants with PKAN.
The aim of the study is to investigate temporal organization of future thinking in patients with schizophrenia. Patients and control participants will be asked to envision and briefly describe ten personal future events using a cue-words list. Then they will be asked to describe everything that came to their minds (i.e. to think aloud) while they attempted to determine when an event will likely occur. The investigators will compare the proportion of several predefined strategies mentioned by the two groups of participants to locate future events in time. The investigators predict that patients will envision less personal future events and will rely to a lesser extent on strategies to locate events in time, than control participants.
