There are about 36633 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in France. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The aim of this prospective randomized study was to evaluate the impact of peroperative pupillometry monitoring on per and post-operative opioid consumption in major gynecological surgery. All patients were anesthetized with TCI of propofol and remifentanil. In the intervention group, peroperative remifentanil target was guided by pupillometry. In the other group, remifentanil was administered according to standard practice.
The purpose of this study was to demonstrate superiority with regard to Overall Survival (OS) or Progression Free Survival (PFS) of avelumab versus platinum-based doublet, based on an Independent Review Committee assessment, in Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) participants with Programmed death ligand 1+ (PD-L1+) tumors.
The purpose of this study is to determine if nivolumab or sorafenib is more effective in the treatment of Advanced Hepatocellular Carcinoma.
This study aim to assess long-term results of an incisional hernia-prophylactic mesh placement during stoma reversal after total mesorectal excision (TME) for rectal cancer
The primary objective of this monocentric and feasibility study is to review the efficacy of cryotherapy in the treatment of unifocal mammary carcinomas in post-menopausal patients, with lumpectomy indication. The efficacy is defined by the rate of success of cryotherapy procedures. For each one of those evaluated process, an success will be defined on the tumor sample of lumpectomy by the absence of viable tumour cells. On the basis of our expertise, it seems interesting to propose this experimental procedure to patients as described above.
The purpose of this study is to demonstrate that the specific management will increase the number of alive trauma patient arriving with a temperature > 35°C.
Primary Objectives: To determine the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) of SAR428926 when administered as a single agent in patients with advanced solid tumors. To evaluate the anti-tumor response of SAR428926 when administered as a single agent in patients with advanced triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) positive for the protein targeted by SAR428926 To assess the preliminary anti-tumor response of SAR428926 when administered as a single agent in patients with advanced solid tumors positive for the protein targeted by SAR428926 Secondary Objectives: To determine the overall safety profile of SAR428926 as a single agent. To characterize the pharmacokinetics (PK) profile of SAR428926 and its metabolites. To identify the recommended Phase 2 dose (RP2D) of SAR428926 as a single agent. To evaluate the immunogenicity of SAR428926. To assess the tumor response and duration of tumor response in all treated patients. To evaluate the benefit of primary prophylaxis on the occurrence of corneal (keratopathy/keratitis) toxicity (Expansion cohorts).
The study consists to Identify viral variants involved in the transmission of hepatitis C and characterize the antigenic and functional properties of their envelope glycoproteins at very early stage of infection (before seroconversion).
The primary objective of this study is to compare the efficacy of sacituzumab govitecan to the treatment of physician's choice (TPC) as measured by independently-reviewed Independent Review Committee (IRC) progression-free survival (PFS) in participants with locally advanced or metastatic triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) previously treated with at least two systemic chemotherapy regimens for unresectable, locally advanced or metastatic disease, and without brain metastasis at baseline.
Atypical hemolytic syndrome (aHUS) is a severe renal disease affecting children and adults. It is characterized by the occlusion of intrarenal vessels due to the presence of platelet/fibrin thrombi, and leads to end-stage renal disease in up to 2/3 of patients. The discovery of complement alternative pathway as a major risk factor for aHUS has led to the design of a disease-specific treatment, the anti-C5 monoclonal antibody, eculizumab. Complement inhibition using eculizumab has clearly improved the renal outcome of aHUS patients with a dramatic decrease in the risk of end-stage renal disease. However, the optimal duration of eculizumab therapy is still debated. The present study aims to assess the feasibility and safety of the discontinuation of eculizumab treatment in children and adults with aHUS.
