There are about 36633 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in France. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
Primary purpose: Complications and rehospitalizations after transperineal prostate biopsy MRI-guided are reduced than transrectal prostate biopsies. Secondary purposes: - Patients tolerance after transperineal prostate biopsy MRI-guided is better than after transrectal prostate biopsies. - Core of transperineal prostate biopsies are better than core of transrectal prostate biopsies - Study of correlation between radiologic images and anatomopathologic result - Description of needle track during the procedure - Description of real time template saturation prostate biopsy - Comparison of transperineal prostate biopsy relevance according to EBM - Comparison of 1.5T MRI and 3T MRI for prostate cancer detection
This clinical trials aims to evaluate Tests Performance on a New Digital Orthoptic Platform.
The investigators wish to highlight, in a Case-Control design, if there is an increased concentration of BFRs in omental adipose tissue of cases ( women with severe endometriosis with surgical indication ) versus bioaccumulation recorded in a control cohort ( women recruited in obstetrics and gynecology or visceral surgery showing no sign of endometriosis ) . Pairing will be operate on Age (+/- 5 years compared to the case ) , BMI ( BMI 5 Classes described by the HAS) and previous breastfeeding experience (yes / no , opposite the release expected bioaccumulate contaminants in breast adipose tissue , when the lactation ) .
This is an open-label, multicenter, dose-escalation and expansion Phase Ib clinical study of RO6958688 in combination with atezolizumab. Part I of the study is subdivided into parts IA and IB. Part IA is dose escalation with a starting dose of 5 mg of RO6958688 given QW (once a week) and a fixed, flat dose of 1200 mg given Q3W (every 3 weeks) of atezolizumab, to evaluate the safety and determine the MTD of RO6958688 in combination with atezolizumab. Part IB is a dose/schedule finding part that will explore different administration schedules of RO6958688 in combination with atezolizumab (1200 mg Q3W) to establish the appropriate dose/schedule of RO6958688 in combination with atezolizumab.
Chronic subdural hematomas are a frequent neurosurgical pathology in the elderly. Gold standard is surgical evacuation of these hematomas. Physiopathology of chronic subdural hematoma involves numerous inflammatory processes which could be inhibited by steroids.
Boosting of tumor cell killing by cytotoxic lymphocytes may be a promising means to enhance anti-tumor immunity. Prior studies demonstrated that tumor infiltration by cytotoxic lymphocytes correlates with control of tumor growth and is associated with an improved prognosis in cancer patients. Trafficking of activated lymphocytes is a tightly regulated mechanism and the specific nature of the chemokine milieu is a crucial determinant for permitting T cell entry into the tumor microenvironment. CXCL10 is an interferon-inducible chemokine particularly important for the recruitment of activated T, and it has been shown to enhance anti-tumor responses through its action on cytotoxic T cells (e.g., glioblastoma, colorectal adenocarcinoma and lung carcinoma). Additionally, roles for CXCL10 as an anti-tumor effector include its ability to chemo-attract NK cells into sites of inflammation, and its ability to inhibit development of new vasculature and induce the regression of newly formed vessels. Adding a layer of complexity, the function of CXCL10 can be regulated by dipeptidylpeptidase IV (DPPIV), leading to the formation of a dominant negative, antagonist form of the chemokine. This was initially demonstrated in vitro, and recent work has provided convincing in vivo evidence that antagonist forms of CXCL10 regulate lymphocyte trafficking. The main goal of this protocol is to evaluate the tolerance of sitagliptin treatment in HCC patients, and secondary DPPIV inhibitors as a strategy for protecting CXCL10 chemokine agonist activity as a means to enhance tumor regression.
To measure the spontaneous baroreflex sensitivity in ambulatory patient, a device made for measuring blood pressure beat by beat and continuously, the SOMNOtouch system, could be a useful tool. The SOMNOtouch system has never been used to assess the sensitivity of the baroreflex. A good correlation for measuring the baroreflex sensitivity between the system "SOMNOtouch" and digital photoplethysmography as a reference method is expected but should be evaluated. The main purpuse is to evaluate the SOMNOtouch system to quantify the spontaneous baroreflex sensitivity in healthy young subjects, in elderly healthy subjects and in subjects with heart failure. We will also evaluate the feasibility of measuring the baroreflex sensitivity in ambulatory conditions for 24 hours, the variations in sensitivity of the baroreflex sensitivity between day and night, the reproducibility of orthostatic tolerance test.
Hypergammaglobulinaemia is frequently observed in type 1 Gaucher disease (GD1), being either polyclonal or monoclonal gammopathies. Polyclonal hypergammaglobulinemia may be related to the presence of autoantibodies. The clinical significance of such antibodies is questioned in Gaucher disease (GD), as some cases of immunologic thrombocytopenia and autoimmune hemolytic anemia have also been reported. Objectives: To evaluate the prevalence of autoantibodies and autoimmune diseases in GD1 patients, we conducted a multicenter national study. The investigators investigated whether there was a link between splenectomy, genotype, therapeutic options and the presence of these autoantibodies. They also investigated whether there was a correlation with some clinical manifestations of GD1
Colostrum is the first milk secreted by the mother when the tight junctions of mammary epithelium open, allowing the cellular transport of a multitude of components and immunological protective derivatives of the maternal circulation to the milk, and especially immunoglobulins A type. Colostrum is not given to preterm neonates. The assumption behind this work is that the oro pharyngeal administration of colostrum early in preterm infants could help deliver an oral immunotherapy even before the installation of enteral nutrition, through interactions with lymphoid tissues of the oropharynx and the gastrointestinal tract. This practice would improve the digestive tolerance and the establishment of enteral feeding, the decrease in mucosal inflammatory phenomena, but also to provide any protection against subsequent infections. Finally, there could be an improvement in the secondary immune tolerance with a decrease in the occurrence of allergic phenomena.
Prospective, multi-center, single arm study designed to evaluate the safety and performance of the Shockwave Coronary Rx Lithoplasty® System to treat calcified lesions in the coronary arteries for the purpose of enhancing the placement of stents and reducing the ultimate residual stenosis. Patients will be followed through discharge and at 30 and 180 days.
