NCT ID: NCT03131648 Completed - Atopic Dermatitis Clinical Trials

Tralokinumab Monotherapy for Moderate to Severe Atopic Dermatitis - ECZTRA 1 (ECZema TRAlokinumab Trial no. 1)

ECZTRA 1
Start date: May 30, 2017
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

Primary objective: To evaluate the efficacy of tralokinumab compared with placebo in treating moderate to severe atopic dermatitis (AD). Secondary objectives: To evaluate the efficacy of tralokinumab on severity and extent of AD, itch, and health related quality of life compared with placebo. Maintenance objective: To evaluate maintenance of effect with continued tralokinumab dosing up to 52 weeks compared to placebo for subjects achieving clinical response at Week 16.

NCT ID: NCT03131297 Completed - Anal Fistula Clinical Trials

Multicenter Prospective Evaluation of Radiofrequency for Anal Fistulas

RADIOFIST
Start date: April 17, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Anal fistula treatment is associated with increasing risk of anal incontinence until 40% of cases. New and alternative treatments (glue, advancement flap, plug…) decrease this risk, but with fistula efficacy treatment in 40 to 60% of cases. Radiofrequency might destroy fistula tract without lesion of anal sphincter. Objective : Fistula healing rate and anal continence, 6 and 12 months after radiofrequency procedure. Methods : Clinical and MRI evaluation before, 6 and 12 months after treatment. Patients : 50 patients with low, high, complex and Crohn disease fistula. An intermediate analysis is expected after the first 20 patients, to verify morbidity. Evaluations : - Fistula clinical healing 6 and 12 months after procedure - Fistula MRI healing 12 months after procedure - Anal continence before and after procedure - Feasibility og radiofrequency procedure - Morbidity - Success and failure prognostics factors of this procedure

NCT ID: NCT03130959 Completed - Clinical trials for Various Advanced Cancer

A Study to Evaluate the Safety and Efficacy of Nivolumab Monotherapy and Nivolumab in Combination With Ipilimumab in Pediatric Participants With High Grade Primary Central Nervous System (CNS) Malignancies

CheckMate 908
Start date: June 12, 2017
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to determine the safety and effectiveness of nivolumab alone and in combination with ipilimumab in pediatric patients with high grade primary central nervous system (CNS) malignancies.

NCT ID: NCT03130361 Completed - Clinical trials for Non-Invasive Ventilation

Wearable Noninvasive Positive Pressure Ventilation Device in COPD

VITABREATH
Start date: January 12, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The objective is to assess the impact of a wearable Noninvasive Positive Pressure Ventilation, on physical activity and quality of life in patients with severe COPD, complaining of dyspnea.

NCT ID: NCT03130322 Completed - Healthy Clinical Trials

SLeep and IMagery Correlates (SOMMEIL-IMAGERIE)

Start date: December 9, 2015
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study is designed to determine the neural networks underlying the sleep-related motor consolidation process following motor imagery practice. While beneficial effects of sleep are expected for sequential movement but not for adaptation motor tasks, the corresponding neuroanatomical correlates have not yet been investigated when participants acquired the motor tasks through mental practice. Data should substantially promote how designing motor imagery interventions targeting (re)learning and/or motor recovery in patients suffering from motor disorders.

NCT ID: NCT03129100 Completed - Clinical trials for Axial Spondyloarthritis

A Long Term Extension Study of Ixekizumab (LY2439821) in Participants With Axial Spondyloarthritis

Start date: May 9, 2017
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to evaluate, in participants having achieved a state of sustained remission, if the ixekizumab treatment groups are superior to the placebo group in maintaining response during the randomized withdrawal-retreatment period in participants with axial spondyloarthritis.

NCT ID: NCT03128905 Completed - Chondrocalcinosis Clinical Trials

Trial of Colchicine Versus Prednisone for the Treatment of Acute CPPD Arthritis

COLCHICORT
Start date: February 5, 2018
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

Chondrocalcinosis, recently renamed the calcium pyrophosphate deposition (CPPD) disease, is a very frequent affection of the elderly and causes very painful arthritis. International recommendations for the treatment of patients suffering from CPPD are based upon rare studies, not randomized, with small samples, and thus very weak scientific evidence. The treatment of CPPD arthritis is extrapolated from the experience of gout treatment, another crystal deposition disease. Among recommended treatments, colchicine and oral steroids are recommended as first-line treatments, while NSAIDs are used with caution in elderly populations of patients. Colchicine utilization is not risk-free, in particular with old patients and patients with renal impairment. Drug interactions of colchicine can have serious consequences, especially in a polymedicated old patient's population. Oral steroids are an interesting alternative in this indication with a potential of being better tolerated, but comparative efficacy with colchicine needs to be studied. From a broader point of view, colchicine and oral steroids have never been compared in any crystal related arthritis. This is the first large randomized controlled trial for CPPD acute arthritis.
