There are about 36633 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in France. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The primary objective is: To evaluate the effect of pozelimab + cemdisiran on daily functioning that is impacted by signs and symptoms in patients with symptomatic generalized myasthenia gravis (gMG) The secondary objectives of the study are: - To evaluate the effect of pozelimab + cemdisiran (ie, combination) and cemdisiran monotherapy on: - Clinician-assessed signs of myasthenia gravis (MG) and muscle strength - Daily functioning that is impacted by signs and symptoms in patients with symptomatic gMG (cemdisiran monotherapy only). - Proportion of patients with improvements in daily function that is impacted by signs and symptoms of MG - Proportion of patients that have improvements in clinician-assessed signs of MG and muscle strength - Health related quality of life - Proportion of patients with minimal MG symptoms - Patient- and clinician-reported signs and symptoms of MG - To evaluate the safety and tolerability of pozelimab + cemdisiran and cemdisiran monotherapy - To assess the concentration of total pozelimab in serum - To assess the concentrations of cemdisiran and its metabolites in plasma - To assess the immunogenicity of pozelimab - To assess the concentration of total C5 in plasma - To assess the immunogenicity of cemdisiran - To study the effect of pozelimab + cemdisiran and cemdisiran monotherapy on complement activation
Primary objective: - Describe the characteristics of enrolled severe asthma patients Secondary objectives: - Assess the control of asthma under dupilumab (Dupixent®) treatment until 1 year - Assess the clinical objectives of the asthma care - Assess comorbidities associated with Type 2 inflammation - Assess safety during the year of treatment
The Phase 3 LIMT-2 study will evaluate the safety and efficacy of Peginterferon Lambda treatment for 48 weeks with 24 weeks follow-up compared to no treatment for 12 weeks in patients chronically infected with HDV. The primary analysis will compare the proportion of patients with HDV RNA < LLOQ at the 24-week post-treatment visit in the Peginterferon Lambda treatment group vs the proportion of patients with HDV RNA < LLOQ at the Week 12 visit in the no-treatment comparator group.
Acute Core Binding Factor leukemias represent a specific category of acute myeloid leukemias that share prognostic factors, a specific mutational profile, and a favorable response to chemotherapy. Their management now follows the reference pattern from the French trial CBF-2006 closed to inclusions since November 2010. This includes intensive chemotherapy and intensification by allogeneic marrow transplant depending on the residual disease measured by RT qPCR . These leukemias have not been the subject of multicenter clinical trials since that date. The results of this treatment regimen need to be evaluated. Known prognostic factors such as signaling mutations, clonal interference or residual disease follow-up (MRD) will be analyzed and updated in this recent cohort. The interaction between residual disease and mutational profile will be evaluated on the prognosis. Treatment with gemtuzumab-ozogamycin and first-line allogeneic transplantation will be investigated, depending on prognostic factors including associated mutations and residual disease. The course and early treatment of molecular relapses will be analyzed. The treatment and prognosis of cytological relapses will be described with in particular the role of tyrosine kinase inhibitors and therapeutic intensification.
The COVID-19 pandemic has profoundly changed the organisation of care. Teleconsultation has replaced hospital medical consultations in order to reduce the risk of patient exposure to the virus. Within the framework of the Oncoral multidisciplinary outpatient / hospital program of follow-up, carried out by the Hospices Civils de Lyon for ambulatory patients treated with oral anticancer drugs, interviews with the pharmacist and/or nurse, which were previously organised face-to-face, have been replaced by telephone interviews, ensuring continuity of follow-up for patients without having to come to the hospital. This study focuses on a telephone survey to describe the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic health crisis on the drug exposure of cancer patients followed in the Oncoral program, their treatment management, their perception of teleconsultation and their IT resources for remote monitoring.
Comparison of the efficacy and safety of 2 types of prostatic biopsies: transperineal biopsy versus transrectal biopsy.
The purpose of this study is to collect information on how NovoPen® 6 works with Tresiba® & Fiasp® for treatment of people with type 1 diabetes and see if the use of NovoPen® 6 can help participants achieve better blood sugar levels. Participants will use Tresiba® & Fiasp® in NovoPen® 6 as prescribed to participants by the study doctor. NovoPen® 6 is a smart pen, which collects and stores the date and time of injections and number of units of insulin participants have taken. NovoPen® 6 can transfer participants insulin dosing information to the mobile application, which participants use to see their continuous blood sugar level. This will allow participants to see their insulin doses along with continuous blood sugar level in the mobile application. Participants will keep using their own continuous blood sugar monitoring device and the mobile application to see these data during the study. The study will last for about 9-11 months. Participants will be asked to complete 2 questionnaires in this study. One questionnaire is about overall satisfaction of using a digital health solution and other is about quality of life. Participants will complete these questionnaires during their normally scheduled visit with the study doctor, on 2 separate occasions
The purpose of the study is to describe medical care strategies implemented by healthcare establishments for patients affected by COVID-19
Following CE certification, this Post Market Clinical Follow-up investigates the performance and safety of using the new fiducial marker, NOVATECH® LUCIOLA™ EB, in the lung airways to monitor in real-time tumor location during radiotherapy. At the time of insertion near the tumor, the Luciola's 3 fiducial marker arms are deployed simultaneously. Optimal detection of the fiducial marker is considered during the radiotherapy treatment.
Pyloric stenosis is a current condition in pediatric surgery. The medical management prior to surgery consists of ionic correction. The nasogastric tube is commonly used to prevent gastric fluid inhalation before surgery, but there is no study on it benefits in this specific use. Other studies suggest that utilization of a gastric tube in pyloric stenosis may increase the duration of the medical treatment. The aim of the study is to evaluate the benefit of the nasogastric tube to prevent respiratory complications. This retrospective, monocentric and descriptive study include all patients hospitalized for pyloric stenosis in the university hospital in Amiens between 2014 and 2021. Patients with and without nasogastric tube prior to surgery are compared, regarding respiratory complications define as use of antibiotic, or oxygen therapy or infection in the lungs X-ray before surgery. The investigators analyze pre-operative data: vomiting, dehydration, time to ionic disorders correction and pain, and also notice the length of hospital stay. Data during hospitalization are analyzed and will be noticed the last medical contact represent by the post-operative consultation.
