Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This trial is conducted in Europe, North America and South America. The aim of this trial is to investigate the clinical efficacy of NNC0109-0012, a human monoclonal antibody, compared to placebo when administered as weekly repeat subcutaneous (under the skin) injections in to patients with active rheumatoid arthritis (RA) with inadequate responses to methotrexate (MTX) while on a stable background of MTX therapy.

NCT ID: NCT01636817 Terminated - Clinical trials for Rheumatoid Arthritis

A Trial of NNC0109-0012, an Anti-IL-20 Biologic, in Patients With Active Rheumatoid Arthritis Who Are Inadequate Responders to Anti-TNFa Biologics

Start date: August 2012
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This trial is conducted in Europe, North America and South America. The aim of this trial is to investigate the clinical efficacy of NNC0109-0012, a human monoclonal antibody, compared to placebo when administered as weekly s.c. (subcutaneous, under the skin) injections to patients with active rheumatoid arthritis (RA) who are inadequate responders to anti-TNFa biologics and are on a stable background of methotrexate (MTX) therapy.

NCT ID: NCT01634815 Terminated - Clinical trials for Chronic Critical Ischemia

Evaluation of Local Capillary Blood Lactate in Chronic Critical Ischemia of Lower Limb Before and After Revascularization

ELIT
Start date: February 4, 2013
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Evaluation of a new biological criterion, the local capillary blood lactates to optimize the management of patients with chronic critical ischemia requiring revascularization fast. Potential use in terms of capillary blood lactate as a diagnostic indicator of recurrent ischemia in a limb revascularized.

NCT ID: NCT01633060 Terminated - Clinical trials for Metastatic Breast Cancer

A Phase III Study of BKM120 With Fulvestrant in Patients With HR+,HER2-, AI Treated, Locally Advanced or Metastatic Breast Cancer Who Progressed on or After mTORi

BELLE-3
Start date: October 3, 2012
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This study was a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase III study to determine the efficacy and safety of treatment with Buparlisib plus Fulvestrant vs. Placebo plus Fulvestrant in postmenopausal women with hormone Receptor-positive (HR-positive), human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative (HER2-negative), aromatase inhibitor (AI)-treated, locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer whose disease progressed on or after mammalian target of rapamycin inhibitor (mTORi)-based treatment. Patients were randomized in 2:1 ratio to treatment with buparlisib 100 mg daily in combination with fulvestrant 500 mg or placebo daily in combination with fulvestrant 500 mg. Randomization was stratified according to visceral disease status (present or absent).

NCT ID: NCT01631942 Terminated - Healthy Clinical Trials

A Multi-centre, Open Labelled, Multiple Dosing Trial Investigating Safety, Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics of NNC 0172-2021 Administered Subcutaneously to Healthy Male Subjects and Haemophilia Subjects

explorerâ„¢2
Start date: June 26, 2012
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This trial is conducted in Europe. The aim of this trial is to investigate safety, pharmacokinetics (the exposure of the trial drug in the body) and pharmacodynamics (the effect of the investigated drug on the body) of NNC 0172-2021 administered subcutaneously to healthy male subjects and subjects with haemophilia.

NCT ID: NCT01630005 Terminated - Clinical trials for Adams-Stokes Syndrome

Talk Therapy After Stroke

PS-POST AVC
Start date: February 2011
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Strokes are the first cause of acquired physical disability among adults. Some studies proved that depression is often an unrecognized complication from stroke, associated with a vital prognosis, functional and cognitive pejorative diagnosis. It led us to pose the hypothesis of the existence of a particular psychological state after stroke particularly favorable to a psychotherapeutic alliance. So, this longitudinal monocentric study aims to estimate the feasibility of a talk therapy and its impact on the anxio-depressive symptomatology after stroke.

NCT ID: NCT01628900 Terminated - Pyelonephritis Clinical Trials

Prospective Study in the Emergency

PROPA
Start date: May 2012
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The prevalence of acute pyelonephritis (PNA) is 60-75 000/year. They are traditionally classified as uncomplicated (60-65%) and complicated. If it is assumed that the uncomplicated PNA can be treated as outpatients with a cure rate of over 80%, the second group is very heterogeneous. Some patients are severely infected. But others, despite an older age, structural urologic abnormalities or a controlled history, have no risk factors and can be simply managed. The investigators propose to reclassify the PNA into 3 categories: uncomplicated PNA (PNA-1), the PNA of moderate severity (PNA-2), the major PNA (PNA-3) to test whether the PNA-2 can benefit from the same outpatient care that the PNA-1. The existence of biological markers of the severity of bacterial infections would further support a tailored approach. The pro-adrenomedullin (pro-ADM), successfully tested to identify severe community acquired pneumonia, is a an interesting candidate.

NCT ID: NCT01622088 Terminated - Clinical trials for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis

Phase 3 Extension Study of Dexpramipexole in ALS

ENVISION
Start date: June 2012
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of the study is to collect long-term safety data from subjects with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) exposed to dexpramipexole.

NCT ID: NCT01619696 Terminated - Clinical trials for Rectal Adenocarcinoma

Prospective Pilot Study of Multimodal Radiological Evaluation Feasibility During Chemoradiotherapy of Rectal Adenocarcinomas

Start date: March 2011
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The objective of the present project is to validate the feasibility of a multimodal radiological pathway while on chemoradiotherapy, in order to validate potentially predictive factors for chemoradiotherapy sensitivity of rectal adenocarcinomas.

NCT ID: NCT01618383 Terminated - Parkinson's Disease Clinical Trials

Study of the Enteric Nervous System Using Colonic Biopsies in Parkinson Patients With LRRK2 Mutation

EnteroLarc
Start date: March 2012
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The clinical and pathological similarities between LRRK2 related parkinsonism and idiopathic Parkinson's disease (PD) indicate that monogenetic LRRK2 parkinsonism may be a paradigm for the development of Lewy bodies disease, and a careful look at discrepancies between these two conditions may provide insight into the pathogenesis of PD. The early involvement of the enteric nervous system (ENS) during PD led to theories that an as yet unidentified external agent entering the ENS causes PD . If lesions of the ENS are found in patients who present with a genetic form of parkinsonism would go against this notion, and thus provide insight to the pathophysiology of the disease.
