There are about 36633 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in France. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The primary objective of this study is to describe the administration practices of the antalgic Ketamine in French CLCC (Centre de Lutte Contre le Cancer) in terms of indication (neuropathic sequelae pains, morphine additional effect or morphine withdrawal, intensity, localisation…) and administration protocol (route, posology, duration, administration sequence, premedication). The secondary objectives are to evaluate in the context of cancer, the analgesic efficacy, the tolerance profile (biological and clinical toxicities) and the quality of life, including anxiety and depression. In addition, the described parameters will be evaluated as safety and efficacy predictive factors of the Ketamine in oncology.
Cervical cancer (CCU) is the fourth most common cancer in women worldwide. In Reunion island, CCU is the third leading cause of cancer in women (standardized incidence rate on the world population (TIS) in 2013 of 10.3 / 100,000) and is the eighth deadliest cancer with a rate standardized mortality of 4.8 / 100,000, almost three times higher than in mainland France where it was 1.7 / 100,000 in 2018. CCU results from infection with the human papillomavirus (HPV), which is the most common sexually transmitted viral infection. CCU prevention is mainly based on cervical smear screening and anti HPV vaccination (VHPV) which has demonstrated its effectiveness on the prevalence of HPV carriage, but also on incidence of condyloma or intermediate grade dysplasia. Since HPV is mainly transmitted sexually, it is important to vaccinate before the start of sex. In Reunion island, the HPV vaccination coverage rate is the lowest in France, estimated by Public Health France at 8.1% among girls aged 16 years in 2018, while the already low national average was established 23.7%. Thus, in view of the epidemiological situation in Reunion island (high incidence and mortality for the CCU, very low VHPV coverage rate), we thought it would be interesting to study the impact of a health promotion program sex and prevention of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) including papillomavirus-related pathologies, with a program to promote HPV vaccination among young students in middle school.

TREOCAPA is a Phase II/III European Multicentre study concerning the prophylactic treatment by Acetaminophen of extremely preterm infant during the first five days after birth. The Phase II is a dose finding phase in order to assess the minimum effective dose regimen of acetaminophen for the closure of PDA for neonates with a gestational age less than 27 weeks This part of the study will be conducted in 11 NICUs, in 4 countries (France, UK, Finland and Denmark). The Phase III is The phase III is a randomized, multicenter, double-blind, placebo-controlled superiority trial, two arms in a 1:1 ratio, evaluating an increasing of 10% of the percentage of survival without severe morbidity at 36 weeks of post menstrual age. In the intervention arm, 20 mg/kg followed by 7.5 mg/kg quarter in die (QID) will be administered to the 27-28 weeks gestational age group (dosage confirmed through PK/PD data analysis from the previous Finnian study) and the dosage selected after the conclusion of the Phase II will be administered to the 23-26 weeks gestational age group. A group sequential design, with a total of 3 analyses (2 interim analyses and a final) and the O'Brien-Fleming alpha spending function is chosen for the trial. At the same time, a Bayesian sequential analysis is planned for safety endpoints
In recent decades, the field of public health has become increasingly interested in endocrine disruptors, and their effects on humans. Indeed, various scientific studies have highlighted an evolution in the frequency of pathologies due to these substances, affecting in particular the reproductive organs. Many concerns are expressed about the impact of these substances, present in the environment or in consumer products, on the hormonal system. Effects have been observed in animals in experimental studies, but the question of extrapolating these results to humans arises, especially for exposures at low doses. In orthodontics, the composite is the material of choice mainly for bonding fasteners, then bonding a compression wire. These composite materials contain many monomers. The polemics launched on Bisphenol A and the questions of our patients on the nature and toxicity of dental products oblige us to reflect on their harmfulness after their placement in the oral cavity. Many questions arise today about dental composites and their participation in the release of endocrine disruptors. Indeed, Bisphenol A is used in the manufacturing process of the monomers of orthodontic composites, as precursors of Bis-GMA and Bis-DMA. The objective of this study is to search for the presence of BPA, TEGDMA, BisGMA, BisDMA and UDMA monomers, and to carry out the samples and their analysis at different clinical times (at T0, after the removal of orthodontic attachments, after the placement of the compression, one hour later, one week later, one month later and 6 months later) and the comparison of this quantification to that without orthodontic restraint. Studies have been performed in vitro, but very little in vivo. In addition, these studies are only carried out on release at the time of installation, but few are interested in the continuation of the phenomenon over time and the deterioration of the composite. Although the short-term toxicity of BPA is low, its dangerousness lies in its potential endocrine disrupting effect and which can induce long-term chronic toxicity. Compounds such as TEGDMA, BisGMA, BisDMA and UDMA differ greatly in their volatility due to their different chemical structures as well as in their stability in saliva; Many methods have been developed to study each monomer individually or to study them simultaneously using different analytical techniques to determine their presence and to quantify them after their release from dental products. The analysis of the samples is carried out by liquid chromatography (HPLC).
Although there are many publications concerning the benefit of the interventions of the self-help movements and peer health mediators in psychiatry, no studies have described the intervention specific to patients with expertise in addictology (EP), nor evaluated their effectiveness. The objective of this study is twofold: identify and define the fields of intervention of EPs adapted to the specific needs of addictology patients. And validate, through a pilot study, the intermediate effectiveness of EP intervention. This EP intervention will be built on the areas of expertise defined in the first step. Intermediate effectiveness will be measured by patients' ability to manage their addiction. The first part of the study will consist of a preliminary qualitative patient-centered study to clarify patients' needs and expectations regarding the content of the EPs' intervention into a one addictology service of the university hospital of Bichat, Paris, France. This will make it possible to translate these needs into fields of expertise to address during the EPs' intervention and will result in the creation of a hetero-questionnaire. The second part of the study will consist of a before-and-after comparative study on inpatients who are their own controls based on the hetero-questionnaire constructed through the qualitative study. This study will identify the main EP's intervention fields in addictology in which EP are more relevant to patients. Thus, their inpatient interventions can be validated and improved, and better carried by addiction professionals.

A Clinical and Biological Database will provide to the scientific community a collection of blood and tissues with clinical data to improve knowledge about cancer and help to develope new cancer treatments. This database is specific to Sarcoma
Given a context where patients autonomy respect is important, it is necessary to pay a sustained attention to the patients care and life experiences, as well as the families and relatives of patients with colorectal cancer or patients in remission of colorectal cancer. Thanks to families and relatives data, it will allow to improve the analyses carried out by the "Societal Cancer Observatory" in 2016.
