There are about 21071 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Spain. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This open-label, randomized, phase Ib study will assess the safety and efficacy of obinutuzumab given in combination with FC (fludarabine and cyclophosphamide) or CHOP (cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine and prednisolone) or bendamustine induction chemotherapy in participants with Cluster of Differentiation (CD) 20+ B-cell Follicular Lymphoma (FL). Participants with complete response or partial response after induction therapy may receive maintenance therapy every 3 months for 2 years or until disease progression, whichever comes first. All participants in the induction period of the study will have a safety follow-up visit 28 days after completing the last dose of obinutuzumab + chemotherapy, and will be followed for at least 2 years, unless they are being treated in maintenance or discontinue from the study prior to this time point. Participants who complete/discontinue maintenance therapy will also be followed for a period of 2 years after receiving the last dose of obinutuzumab or until progression/new antilymphoma treatment.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate two types of embryo transfer procedure. The investigators will compare direct embryo transfer against afterloading embryo transfer.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the safety and efficacy of ofatumumab added to fludarabine-cyclophosphamide in patients with relapsed Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL).
Non-interventional, multicenter, cross-sectional study to evaluate the mental care received by schizophrenic patients and their caregivers in Spain irrespective of the drug prescribed.
This 2 arm study will assess the efficacy, safety and tolerability of taspoglutide compared to placebo in obese patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus inadequately controlled with metformin monotherapy. Patients will be randomized to receive taspoglutide (10mg sc once weekly for 4 weeks followed by 20mg once weekly) or placebo sc, in addition to their prescribed, pre-existing metformin therapy. After the first 24 weeks, patients on placebo will be switched to taspoglutide 20mg once weekly (after 4 weeks on taspoglutide 10mg once weekly) The anticipated time on study treatment is 12 months, and the target sample size is 100-500 individuals.
This is a randomized phase IIIb study investigating the treatment of malignant ascites due to epithelial cancer (carcinomas) with the trifunctional antibody catumaxomab. In order to make the catumaxomab treatment more convenient for the patient and the hospital praxis the tolerability of 3 hour infusions of catumaxomab with and without premedication of prednisolone is evaluated. A total of 208 patients with malignant ascites due to epithelial cancer will be allocated to two treatment groups in a 1:1 ratio.
The study is a prospective, controlled, randomised and assessor blind study that investigate if the need for bank blood transfusion could be reduced in patients, undergoing primary or revision total hip replacement surgery, who receive their own blood back with the medical device Sangvia. A comparison in need for bank blood will be made between patients that either receive their own blood back or not.
This project evaluates the effectiveness of the administration of autologous bone marrow blood in patients with brittle type 1 diabetes mellitus to restore insulin secretion. After mobilization of hematopoietic progenitors (G-CSF) during 3 days, 50 to 90 mL of bone marrow blood will be obtained by multifunction in the posterior iliac crest. The material obtained will be implanted into the pancreas through the magna pancreatic artery after femoral catheterization.
This study compared the safety and efficacy of indacaterol 150 µg taken once daily (o.d.) versus salmeterol 50 µg taken twice daily (b.i.d) in patients 40 years old or older with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
This study will assess safety and efficacy of AEB071 combined with everolimus in a CNI-free (calcineurin inhibitor) regimen in renal transplant recipients.
