There are about 21071 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Spain. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of trametinib once daily on the pharmacokinetics (PK) of a daily dosing oral contraceptives (OCs) containing norethindrone (NE) and ethinyl estradiol (EE) in female patients with solid tumors. The PK of trametinib and its metabolite M5 will also be assessed.
Hypothesis: ITB bolus can have antinociceptive effect on neuropathic pain in spinal cord injury patients, which could depend on the subtype of pain, or on the lesion level, cervical or thoracic spinal cord injury. Objective: To study the effect of intrathecal baclofen bolus on neuropathic pain in patients with spinal cord injury at cervico-dorsal level. Primary Endpoint: Effect of intrathecal baclofen bolus in neuropathic pain (measured using the Neuropathic Pain Inventory Scale, the Brief Pain Inventory and the Numerical Rating Scale) in spinal cord injury at cervico-dorsal level. Secondary Endpoints: 1. Spasticity and spasms (measured using the Modified Ashworth Scale and the Visual Analogue Scale and Penn Spasm Frequency Scale). 2. Neurophysiological examination (warm perception threshold, heat pain perception threshold, evoked pain perception and contact heat evoked potentials).
This is a multicenter, randomized, double-blind study being conducted as a postmarketing requirement to the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to evaluate whether there is a lower starting dosage of lenvatinib 24 mg once daily (QD) that provides comparable efficacy but has a better safety profile in participants with radioiodine-refractory differentiated thyroid cancer RR-DTC with radiographic evidence of disease progression within the prior 12 months.
This study evaluates inhaled molgramostim (recombinant human granulocyte macrophage-colony stimulating factor [rhGM-CSF]) in the treatment of autoimmune pulmonary alveolar proteinosis (aPAP) patients. A third of the patients will receive inhaled molgramostim once daily for 24 weeks, a third will receive inhaled molgramostim intermittently (7 days on, 7 days off) for 24 weeks and a third will receive inhaled matching placebo for 24 weeks.
This is an international, mutli-center, prospective, consecutively enrolled, observational registry. 2000 patients are planned to be enrolled over one year at up to 150 participating sites. 300 patients out of the 2000 patients enrolled in the main registry are planned to be consecutively enrolled in a select few sites for studying the valve performance. Echocardiogram and angiogram will be taken routinely.
This is an observational, prospective, non-randomized, multicenter, post approval study being conducted in the United States, Europe and Asia-Pacific Regions.
The ALICIA-FA study will elucidate whether targeting atrial myocardial fibrosis identified by late gadolinium-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (LGE-MRI) improves atrial fibrillation (AF) ablation outcomes.
The purpose is to observe the compliance to a high-calorie, high protein peptide-based nutritional supplement after 3 months in a malnourished population with impaired gastrointestinal tolerance living in nursing homes and as outpatients.
Diacutaneous Fibrolysis is a manual method of treatment, addressed to mechanical pain of the neuromusculoskeletal system. In the clinical practice a favorable effect is observed in patients with carpal tunnel syndrome, but there is no published studies evaluating the results os this technique. The objective of this trial is to evaluate if Diacutaneous Fibrolysis is more effective in symptoms, function, grip, mechanosensitivity and neural conduction velocity compared to a placebo. For this purpose the investigators conduct a randomized controlled trial double-blind (patient and examiner). The investigators included patients diagnosed of carpal tunnel syndrome (low to moderate intensity) with a neurophysiological test. Patients included are randomized into 2 groups one receive Diacutaneous Fibrolysis and the other placebo. Both groups receive 5 treatment sessions. The variables are measured at the beginning and end of treatment. And also some variables are measured before and after each session. Patients who participated in placebo group, when the intervention finish the investigators will be given the opportunity to receive the actual technique
This study evaluates the combination of a therapeutic exercise program and dry needling in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis in older adults. Half of participants will receive therapeutic exercise program and dry needling in combination, while the other half will receive the same therapeutic exercise program and sham dry needling.
