There are about 11256 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Egypt. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This study aims to evaluate the efficacy and safety of r-Hirudin RB variant 15 mg in DVT prophylaxis post major orthopedic operations
BACKGROUND: Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS), the most common entrapment neuropathy of the upper extremity, is caused by compression of the median nerve as it travels through the carpal tunnel CTs is a very common complication found in pregnancy, which is reported as high as 62% in pregnant females. The functioning of median nerve is compromised in almost all pregnant females especially during the third trimester of pregnancy, the majority may still feel some symptoms up to 3 years after delivery. Many clinicians have used LLLT on acupuncture points, which is called laser acupuncture (LA), to treat many clinical problems, such as musculoskeletal pain, lateral epicondylitis, headaches, etc. In contrast with traditional acupuncture needles, LA is a non-invasive therapy that does not cause tingling/pain during procedures Objective: to determine efficacy of laser acupuncture on electrophysiological parameters of median nerve in postpartum women
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the sixth most common cancer in the world with rising incidence. Globally, there has been substantial variation in prevalence of risk factors for HCC over years, like control of viral hepatitis in developing countries but growing epidemic of fatty liver disease in developed world. Changing epidemiology of HCC is related to trends in these risk factors, Paraneoplastic syndromes (PNS) are defined as systemic, metabolic, or other distant consequences of malignancy resulting, either directly or indirectly, from production by the neoplasm of substances that gain access to the blood stream, thereby exerting their effects on distant organs or tissues There is four major HCC-associated paraneoplastic syndromes among Cirrhotic patients,i.e.hypercholesterolemia,hypoglycemia,hypercalcemia,and erythrocytosis .
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of motor control training using scapular PNF exercise on neck pain, function, proprioception, and scapular muscle strength in patients with chronic mechanical neck pain.
Urinary incontinence (UI) is more common than any other chronic disease. Stress urinary incontinence (SUI), among the various forms of urinary incontinence, is the most prevalent (50%) type of this condition. Female urinary continence is maintained through an integrated function of pelvic floor muscles (PFMs), fascial structures, nerves, supporting ligaments, and the vagina. In women with SUI, the postural activity of the PFMs is delayed, and the balance ability is decreased. Many women, by learning the correct timing of a pelvic floor contraction during a cough, are able to eliminate consequent SUI. Timing is an important function of motor coordination and could be affected by proprioception. We aim to assess stress urinary incontinence in obese and non-obese Nulligravid females.
The study is a crossover, randomised, controlled clinical trial that will compare and evaluate patients' satisfaction and oral microbiota proliferation in two groups. Group I: Conventionally manufactured CRD Group II: 3D-printed (three-dimensionally printed) CAD/CAM (computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing) manufactured CRD, The participants will be selected according to inclusion and exclusion criteria and will be randomly allocated into both groups and then shuffled to the other group using the Research Randomizer Program.
The aim of our study is to compare between transcranial doppler pulsatility index and mean arterial blood pressure in guiding management of sepsis induced encephalopathy.
Correction of sever degree of coxa vara in single-stage correction.
The aim of this randomized clinical trial is to evaluate and compare the incidence and intensity of post-operative pain after obturation using resin and silicon-based sealers.
The study provides a detailed description of a smaller incision with better visualization in total knee arthroplasty operations
