There are about 11256 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Egypt. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
Digital transformation in the orthodontic field profoundly alters the way in which orthodontic treatment is perceived and delivered, moreover it aids in creating individualized orthodontic appliances.A crucial step in digital orthodontic planning in either indirect bonding or aligner treatment is localization of mesiodistal tip. Earlier, Panoramic radiographs were formerly recommended to assist clinicians in properly identifying mesiodistal root angulation. recommended to help clinician to identify mesiodistal root angulation accurately. Owens et al. recorded clinically significant variation between the radiographic and the true root angulation. Alternatively CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) guided mesiodistal root angulation assessment has superior clinical significance compared to the routinely taken panoramic radiograph . despite its accuracy ,CBCT is not justified as a part of diagnostic records for orthodontic treatment planning following the ALARA rule . To eliminate additional x ray dose Computer aided mesiodistal root angulation identification is provided by several softwares such as OrthoAnalyzerâ„¢ ,OrthoCAD® ,and SureSmile® , however, the accuracy remains questionable. These finding may point out the importance of studying the accuracy mesiodistal identification to carry on digital workflow without the radiographic guidance.
Epidural anesthesia is a widely used method for pain relief which is useful in various settings. Identification of needle entry into the epidural space (EDS) is performed most using a loss of resistance (LOR) technique, which was described in 1921 by Sicard and Forestier, and has remained largely unchanged since. Hysterectomy operations anesthesia and analgesia rely heavily on proper needle placement technique. A noninvasive approach to confirm the correct position of the epidural needle prior to injection of local anesthetics into the epidural space, would thus be beneficial. Ultrasound (US) is a noninvasive approach increasingly used in anesthesia practice. The use of color flow Doppler (CFD) may further aid in defining the epidural space. The aim of current study is to detect and confirm site of epidural catheter in hysterectomy by using color flow doppler ultrasonography.
An interventional study that aims to design, establish and implement an electronic application for management of the usage of anesthetics, antimicrobials, and analgesics in a pediatric surgery department, and assess the impact of the implementation of an electronic medication management application on the appropriateness of medication use in a pediatric surgery department
The aim of the current study is to evaluate the use of a PEEK shell placed in the anterior maxilla placed by tunnel technique in decreasing the gingival display
Patellofemoral pain syndrome (PFPS) can significantly affect an individual's ability perform to functional activities, such as walking, running, climbing stairs, and sitting for prolonged periods. PFPS is often associated with pain and discomfort in the front of the knee, which can limit an individual's range of motion and cause difficulty with weight-bearing activities. The pain may also be exacerbated by activities that involve bending the knee, such as squatting or kneeling. Whole body vibration (WBV) has been suggested as a potential intervention for patellofemoral pain syndrome (PFPS). Some studies have shown that WBV can improve muscle strength, balance, and proprioception, which are all factors that may contribute to PFPS. Additionally, WBV may help reduce pain and improve functional abilities in individuals with PFPS However, the evidence for the effectiveness of WBV as an intervention for PFPS is still limited, and more research is needed to fully understand its potential benefits and limitations. It is important to note that WBV may not be suitable for all individuals with PFPS.
The aim of the study is to compare antiemetic effects between dexmedetomidine and ondansteron in the first group versus dexamethasone and ondansteron in the second group. The primary outcome in this study is incidence of postoperative nausea and vomiting after laparoscopic cholecystectomy. The secondary outcomes are: - The severity of post operative nausea and vomiting. - Use of rescue antiemetic drugs. - Postoperative pain and sedation.
to assess two different ways of closure of laparotomy in children and infants
50 patients with American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) grade I to II, 18 to 60 years of age scheduled for Modified Radical Mastectomy surgery, Will be included in the study.
the study is carried in faculty of dentistry Mansoura university to compare the efficiency and health quality life improvement between clear aligner and inclined plane in treatment of anterior crossbite
Transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) is the most common surgical intervention for patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia. TURP is mostly applied to elderly patients with hypertension and problems with breathing, circulation system, and kidney functions; therefore, it becomes very important to keep a stable anesthesia that will minimize the hemodynamic differences in these patients. General anesthesia causes more hemodynamic differences than regional anesthesia. Thus, regional anesthesia is highly preferable in TURP applications.
