To provide real world data on patient characteristics, disease management, healthcare utilization, and outcomes in patients with type 2 diabetes, Hypertension, Heart failure and/or Chronic kidney diseases

NCT ID: NCT03549481 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Acute Coronary Syndrome

Predictive Value of Risk Scores in Acute Coronary Syndrome

Start date: July 9, 2018
Phase:
Study type: Observational

role of different risk scores in acute coronary syndrome to predict left ventricular remodeling

NCT ID: NCT03549026 Recruiting - Acute Pain Clinical Trials

Analgesic Efficacy of Duloxetine in Patients Undergoing Lumbar Discectomy

Start date: January 5, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Duloxetine is a serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor primarily used for treatment of major depression and anxiety. Duloxetine also has been used in the treatment of chronic pain conditions, such as osteoarthritis and musculoskeletal pain. There are few studies examining its effect for acute pain. The objective of this study is to evaluate the analgesic effect of duloxetine for patients undergoing lumbar discectomy.

NCT ID: NCT03545139 Recruiting - Nonvital Tooth Clinical Trials

Clinical & Radiographic Evaluation of Neo MTA Versus White MTA in Revascularization of Non-Vital Immature Permanent Teeth

Start date: September 1, 2019
Phase: Early Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

- To evaluate and compare the degree of tooth discoloration in tooth crowns induced by Neo MTA versus white MTA over time. - Evaluation of the effectiveness of Neo MTA as coronal plug in revascularization of immature teeth with necrotic pulp.

NCT ID: NCT03543592 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Postmenopausal Bleeding

Three-dimensional Power Doppler in the Diagnosis of Endometrial Lesions in Patients With Postmenopausal Bleeding

Start date: June 1, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

100 women suffering post-menopausal bleeding will be included in the study. All the participants will undergo 3D Transvaginal Ultrasound to assess the endometrium and myometrium (for the presence of any focal lesions e.g. polypi) followed by 3D Power Doppler ultrasound assessment of the vascular indices: vascularization index (VI), flow index (FI) and vascularization-flow index (VFI) and endometrial volumes. The results of the ultrasound and Doppler indices will be correlated to the histopathological examination of specimens collected following fractional curettage or hysterectomy.

NCT ID: NCT03543345 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Right Coronary Artery Occlusion

Right Ventricular Function Change After PCI to Right Coronary Artery

Start date: June 1, 2018
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Proximal RCA occlusions were very often found among men with fatal pre-hospital MI; whereas left-sided coronary occlusions were significantly more frequent in hospital-admitted survivors of MI. Left-sided coronary occlusions may be associated with a more favorable pre-hospital phase of acute MI compared to proximal RCA occlusions. Proximal RCA occlusion increases the risk of arrhythmia and shock leading to increase the mortality. Sinus bradycardia and cardiogenic shock accounts for the majorities of the mortalities of RCA occlusion

NCT ID: NCT03542526 Recruiting - Hypertension Clinical Trials

Relationship of Different Electrocardiographic Parameters and Ambulatory Blood Pressure Parameters to Detect Left Ventricular Hypertrophy

Start date: January 1, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational

To review the accuracy of electrocardiography in screening for left ventricular hypertrophy in patients with hypertension.

NCT ID: NCT03540212 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Chronic HCV Infection

Clinical Pharmacokinetics of Daclatasvir/Sofosbuvir in Adolescents With Hepatitis C Virus

Start date: December 10, 2017
Phase: Phase 2/Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is an interventional Phase II/III, single center, single arm clinical trial to assess the pharmacokinetics, efficacy, safety and tolerance of daclatasvir plus sofosbuvir in treatment-naïve, non-cirrhotic adolescents with chronic HCV GT-4 infection. A single-arm evaluation of daclatasvir/sofosbuvir will focus on the pharmacokinetics, efficacy and safety All enrolled patients will receive daclatasvir 60 mg orally once daily plus sofosbuvir at a dose of 400 mg orally once daily for 12 weeks.

NCT ID: NCT03539718 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Hemodialysis Catheter Infection

Taurolock Hep 500 Versus Unfractionated Heparin as Anti-inflammatory in Hemodialysis Catheters.

Start date: May 15, 2018
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

To assess the efficacy of Taurolock-hep500™ as anticoagulant and antimicrobial catheter lock solution in comparison to unfractionated heparin as alock solution to improve performance of hemodialysis catheters and quality of hemodialysis .

NCT ID: NCT03537287 Recruiting - Preterm Labor Clinical Trials

Different Types of Progesterone in the Prevention of Preterm Labor

Start date: July 2016
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Preterm birth is a common problem in obstetric care, with estimates ranging from 5% in several European countries to 18% in some African countries, Preterm labor defined as delivery before 37 completed weeks is the leading cause of perinatal and neonatal morbidity and mortality and strongly related to the developmental and neurological disabilities later in life.. There is still considerable uncertainty regarding the optimal progesterone type, route of administration, dosage and timing of start of therapy to prevent preterm labor in risky women
