There are about 11256 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Egypt. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
Morphometric measurement of blastocyst diameter was taken on the day of trophoectoderm biopsy. PGT-A was done using NGS platform, followed by thawing and transfer of euploid blastocyts. Follow up of the Pregnancy and implantation rates is done and recorded to study the correlation between the diameter and reproductive outcomes of the blastocyst.
Carriere Motion appliance (CMA) was designed to change a Class II molar relationship into a Class I relationship by distalizing the whole posterior maxillary segment by means of class II elastics and mandibular anchorage. To eliminate the adverse effects of CMA with class II elastics, we can use the CMA to distalize the maxillary posterior segment with intra-arch anchorage using infrazygomatic miniscrews. The aim of this study is to evaluate skeletaly anchored CMA for distalization of the maxillary buccal segment vs. conventionally anchored CMA by comparing skeletal and dental measurements obtained from lateral cephalometric radiographs obtained prior to treatment (T0) and immediately after correction of class II and remval of the appliance (T1).
To assess pain relief and quality of life among patients with carpal tunnel syndrome after local steroid vs. glucose 5% injection.
Suprachoroidal drug delivery is a recent route for managing various ocular conditions. Safety and long term results are still under investigations.
Invasive mechanical ventilation induces ventilator induced diaphragmatic dysfunction particularly when used for long time and Intercostal muscles as well contribute to the important work of respiratory movement by expanding the thorax , and determining the thickness of them would be a useful parameter in evaluating respiratory muscle activity. This study will add the impact of mechanical ventilation on the diaphragm and intercostal muscles in preterm infants using ultrasound.
The sinus lift technique through alveolar crest Osseodensification is conservative, minimally invasive, and minimally traumatic, utilizing hydropneumatic counterclockwise rotating instruments to lift the maxillary sinus floor without touching the Schneiderian membrane, thereby minimizing the risk of perforation. In contrast, the internal sinus lift technique utilizing osteotomes to raise the Schneiderian membrane eliminated hammering, making the technique more patient-friendly, with the placement of a graft biomaterial around the implant. The challenge in this technique was the availability of > 5mm residual bone height preventing membrane perforation and low primary implant stability. Consequently, the investigator aims to compare the efficacy and clinical outcomes of Osseodensification and Osteotome internal sinus lifting after delayed implant placement by assessing bone gain and bone density around implants radiographically, the primary stability of the implants clinically, and patient satisfaction.
During pandemic of corona virus, patients compliance may be affected. We aim to study the factors lead to unregulated visits and its implications on the final visual outcome.
Assessment of intraoperative nursing safety precautions for open heart surgery patients on cardiopulmonary bypass machine.
The aims of this study are: 1. To determine the correlation between pulmonary functions and physical fitness in children with β-thalassemia. 2. To differentiate between different types of B-thalassemia in both pulmonary functions and physical fitness
Study the effect of genetic polymorphism (rs1885301, rs4148396 and rs3740066) in the membrane of Multidrug resistance protein 2 (MRP2) encoded by ATP-binding cassette C2 (ABCC2) gene and its genetic expression levels on neurotoxicity in gasrtointestinal cancer patients reciving Oxaliplatin-based chemotherapy.
