NCT ID: NCT02351232 Completed - Type 1 Diabetes Clinical Trials

The Lira Pump Trial

Start date: February 2015
Phase: Phase 2/Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

A randomized placebo-controlled clinical trial investigating the effects of Liraglutide as an add-on to intensive insulin therapy in overweight insulin pump treated type 1 diabetes patients in suboptimal glycemic control.

NCT ID: NCT02350894 Completed - Brain Concussion Clinical Trials

Microstructural Changes in the Brain During Recovery After Mild Traumatic Brain Injury

Start date: January 2015
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This study examines the possible microstructural changes in the brain during recovery after mTBI using diffusion MRI.

NCT ID: NCT02350673 Completed - Solid Tumors Clinical Trials

A Study of Intravenous (IV) Cergutuzumab Amunaleukin and Atezolizumab in Combination in Participants With Locally Advanced and/or Metastatic Solid Tumors

Start date: June 29, 2015
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This is an open-label, multi-center, Phase Ib clinical study of cergutuzumab amunaleukin, in combination with atezolizumab, to investigate the safety, pharmacokinetics, and therapeutic activity in participants with locally advanced and/or metastatic carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA)-positive solid tumors, whose disease has progressed on or who are intolerant to the standard of care therapy. Enrolled participants who continue treatment will be treated until loss of clinical benefit, unacceptable toxicities, or withdrawal of consent. The study will include 2 parts: a dose-escalation Part I and a dose expansion Part II. The anticipated treatment period is 24 months for both cergutuzumab amunaleukin and atezolizumab and may be modified if emerging data suggest a benefit.

NCT ID: NCT02350348 Completed - Children Clinical Trials

NEonate-Children sTudy of Anaesthesia pRactice IN Europe Epidemiology of Morbidity and Mortality in Neonatal Anaesthesia

NECTARINE
Start date: March 2016
Phase:
Study type: Observational

To study the 30-day morbidity and mortality after neonatal anaesthesia, and predictive factors that can be responsible for poor outcome.

NCT ID: NCT02349373 Completed - Clinical trials for Running Related Injuries

Focus of a Running Schedule and Risk of Running Injuries

Start date: April 2015
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Running is a natural part of human locomotion and humans have been running for million of years. In modern society, running has become a popular way of exercise and is undertaken by many people worldwide, possibly because it provides a cheap and easily accessible form of exercise, and the positive effects of running on health and fitness are well known. Unfortunately, running is also associated with a high risk of injury. The purpose of this project is to investigate how a running schedule which focuses either on running distance or running speed influence the overall risk of injury and the types of injury sustained in recreational runners.

NCT ID: NCT02348489 Completed - Clinical trials for Leukemia, Myeloid, Acute

SGI-110 in Adults With Untreated Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), Not Considered Candidates for Intensive Remission Induction

Start date: March 19, 2015
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

To compare efficacy and safety between SGI-110 and Treatment Choice in adults with previously untreated AML who are not considered candidates for intensive remission induction chemotherapy.

NCT ID: NCT02348437 Completed - Radius Fractures Clinical Trials

Repair vs Non-repair of the Pronator Quadratus Muscle in Distal Radius Fractures. RCT.

Start date: February 2015
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to determine the functional outcome of repairing the pronator quadratus (PQ) muscle in subjects operated for a distal radius fracture (DRF) with volar locked plating.

NCT ID: NCT02347657 Completed - Cystic Fibrosis Clinical Trials

A Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled, Parallel-Group Study to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of VX-661 in Combination With Ivacaftor

Start date: January 2015
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is a Phase 3, randomized, double blind, placebo controlled, parallel group, multicenter study in people with cystic fibrosis (CF) who are homozygous for the F508del CF transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) gene mutation.

NCT ID: NCT02346110 Completed - Clinical trials for Arthrosis, Unspecified, Ankle and Foot

Protracted Effect of the Ultrasound-guided Saphenous Block

PEUSB
Start date: April 2015
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

This study focuses on optimizing the postoperative pain treatment after major foot and ankle surgery by prolonging the duration of the ultrasound-guided saphenous block. The currently used single shot saphenous block only covers half of the pain intensive period from the saphenous territory, which results in a sharp, break-through pain requiring opioids. The hypothesis is that this protracted mixture will keep the patients free of pain without the use of opioids for the entire pain intensive period and thus increase rehabilitation and patients' satisfaction.

NCT ID: NCT02346097 Completed - Clinical trials for Congestive Heart Failure

Electrophysiological Optimization of Left Ventricular Lead Placement in CRT

ElectroCRT
Start date: February 16, 2015
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to investigate if "optimal electrical resynchronization" achieved by targeting left ventricular lead placement to the myocardial region with the latest electrical activation combined with post-implant pacemakersettings for narrowing the paced QRS width causes an excess improvement in the pumping function of the heart (the left ventricular ejection fraction) in Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy (CRT)
