There are about 11304 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Denmark. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This is a multicentre, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel-group Phase II trial of twelve weeks of KBP-042 administered as daily s.c. injections in subjects with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus with inadequate glycaemic control while treated with a stable dose of metformin. The trial is planned to be performed in Czech Republic, Denmark, Moldova, Poland, Romania and United Kingdom
It is well-known that regular physical activity (PA) can improve glycemic control and physical fitness in type 2 diabetes patients. However, studies examining the effects of PA in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) are limited. Interval walking training (IWT) is a careful type of PA consisting of repeatedly cycles of 3 min. fast and slow walking. The investigators aimed to examine, if IWT is feasible as PA intervention for GDM patients, and to examine the effects of IWT on glycemic control, PA levels and physical fitness.
To investigate the role of KATP channels on the cerebral hemodynamic in migraine patients.
This is a prospective, observational, multi-center, single-arm, clinical trial designed to assess the efficacy of FFRangio in measuring FFR obtained from angiography compared to Invasive FFR for diagnosing hemodynamically significant coronary stenosis.
This study evaluates the interaction between host immune cells and bacteria associated with periodontitis. It comprises biological material from donors with and without periodontal disease. Specifically, we collect a spit and blood sample to conduct in vitro stimulations and measurements of selected parameters related to periodontitis to clarify obscure areas in the immunologic pathogenesis of this disease.
This First-In-Human trial will be conducted in healthy male subjects to explore the safety, tolerability, immunogenicity, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics of single doses of M6495.
This is an observational study evaluating a catheter salvage strategy in relation to catheter-related bloodstream infections in patients with chronic intestinal failure dependent on home parenteral support. The study is confined to the period 2002 to 2016.
Bothersome odor from the axilla is in most cases caused by Corynebacterium spp. Anti-microbial effects of zinc oxide (ZnO) are well documented. The overall objective of this study is to verify that repeated applications of a ZnO containing formulation can be directly linked to reduced growth of Corynebacterium spp. in the axillae.
Collagen synthesis is depressed systemically in the immediate postoperative period. Arginine, zinc and vitamin C impact collagen synthesis. The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of a pre and postoperative oral supplement consisting of arginine, zinc and vitamin C on collagen synthesis in patients undergoing inguinal hernia repair.
The aim of this trial is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of insulin detemir using the 2400 nmol/mL formulation to optimise dosing in subjects with type 1 diabetes on a basal (once daily)-bolus regimen.
