NCT ID: NCT03472391 Completed - Anorexia Nervosa Clinical Trials

Physical Therapy for In-patients With Severe Anorexia Nervosa

PTSAN
Start date: October 1, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

In-patients with severe anorexia nervosa (AN) often drop out of treatment, because of ambivalence towards treatment and anxiety for weight gain. However, physical therapy has shown some positive effects on symptoms of AN. This study aims to investigate the feasibility of a randomized control trial (RCT) of a standardized physiotherapeutic program for patients with severe AN with compliance to nutritional therapy as the primary outcome measure.

NCT ID: NCT03472105 Completed - Clinical trials for Chronic Kidney Disease, Stage 3 (Moderate)

Short-term Effect of a New Nordic Renal Diet on Phosphorus Homeostasis in CKD Stage 3-4

Start date: February 1, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Hyperphosphatemia is a severe complication to chronic kidney disease (CKD) and is associated with increased risk of vascular calcification, cardiovascular morbidity and mortality. Early dietary intervention and improvement in dietary therapy might optimally reduce cardiovascular complications. For this purpose the investigators investigated patients with CKD stage 3-4, the participants dietary habits, developed a New Nordic Renal Diet and investigated the short term effect on phosphorus homeostasis.

NCT ID: NCT03472040 Completed - Clinical trials for Hereditary Angioedema

A Long Term Safety Study of BCX7353 in Hereditary Angioedema

APeX-S
Start date: February 16, 2018
Phase: Phase 2/Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is an open-label study to evaluate the long term safety and effectiveness of oral treatment with BCX7353 in preventing acute angioedema attacks in patients with Type I and Type II Hereditary Angioedema (HAE).

NCT ID: NCT03471039 Completed - Clinical trials for Migraine Without Aura

PACAP27 Headache Properties in Migraine Without Aura Patients

Start date: August 30, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Pituitary adenylate cyclase-activating polypeptide (PACAP) is a signaling molecule, localized in sensory and parasympathetic perivascular nerves fibres. PACAP exists i to functional iso-forms Pituitary adenylate cyclase-activating polypeptide-38 (PACAP38) and PACAP27.

NCT ID: NCT03470610 Completed - Infertility Clinical Trials

Administration of Vaginal and Rectal Progesterone During FET Cycles

Start date: February 1, 2018
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

Observational study of reproductive outcome after frozen embryo transfer in HRT with vaginal and rectal progesterone.

NCT ID: NCT03470545 Completed - Clinical trials for Obstructive Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy

Clinical Study to Evaluate Mavacamten (MYK-461) in Adults With Symptomatic Obstructive Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy

EXPLORER-HCM
Start date: May 29, 2018
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is a multicenter, international, double-blind study of the administration of mavacamten in participants with symptomatic obstructive HCM (oHCM). Approximately 220 participants will be randomized to receive placebo or mavacamten.

NCT ID: NCT03470038 Completed - Healthy Subjects Clinical Trials

Interaction Between NGF and Acute Exercise-induced Ischemia

Start date: March 15, 2018
Phase: Early Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to investigate pain evoked responses and facilitation of NGF-induced mechanical muscle hyperalgesia over time following an acute exercised-induced ischemic condition in a NGF-sensitized muscle.

NCT ID: NCT03467815 Completed - Clinical trials for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

Wireless Assessment of Respiratory and Circulatory Distress in Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

WARD-COPD
Start date: March 15, 2018
Phase:
Study type: Observational

For patients admitted to the medical ward, it is usually difficult to predict if their clinical condition will deteriorate, however subtle changes in vital signs are usually present 8 to 24 hours before a life-threatening event such as respiratory failure leading to ICU admission, or unanticipated cardiac arrest. Such adverse trends in clinical observations can be missed, misinterpreted or not appreciated as urgent. New continuous and wearable 24/7 clinical vital parameter monitoring systems offer a unique possibility to identify clinical deterioration before patients progress beyond the point-of-no-return, where adverse events are inevitable. The WARD-COPD project aims to determine the number and duration of cardiopulmonary micro events during the first 4 days after hospital admission with Acute Exacerbation of COPD. We will also test the server installation, develop a database of core data and assess the frequency of artefacts and failure to capture the continuous monitoring signal.

NCT ID: NCT03466983 Completed - IBD Clinical Trials

Start date: May 23, 2018
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

Treatment with iron isomaltoside and ferric carboxymaltose in subjects with iron deficiency anaemia due to inflammatory bowel disease and comparison of the incidence of hypophosphatemia
