Start date: March 15, 2023
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

CKJX839D12304 is a research study to determine if the study treatment, called inclisiran, in comparison to placebo or ezetimibe can effectively reduce LDL-C as measured by percentage change from baseline to Day 150. This study is being conducted in eligible participants with primary hypercholesterolemia not receiving any lipid-lowering therapy (LLT), with a 10-year Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease (ASCVD) risk of less than 7.5%.

NCT ID: NCT05751226 Active, not recruiting - Healthy Clinical Trials

A Study in People With Overweight or Obesity to Test How Well Different Doses of BI 1820237 Are Tolerated When Given Alone or in Combination With Either Semaglutide or BI 456906

Start date: March 15, 2023
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This study is open to adults between 18 and 55 years of age who are living with overweight or obesity. People with a body mass index (BMI) from 27 to 40 kg/m2 can join the study. The main purpose of this study is to find out how a medicine called BI 1820237 is tolerated by people with overweight or obesity when taken alone or in combination with a medicine called semaglutide or with a medicine called BI 456906. Participants are divided into different groups. All participants in the study either take different doses of BI 1820237 or placebo. Some of the groups take either semaglutide or BI 456906 in addition. Each participant has an equal chance of being in each group. All participants receive the study medicines as injections under the skin once a week for almost 5 months. Placebo injections look like BI 1820237 injections, but do not contain any medicine. Semaglutide is medicine that is already used for overweight or obesity. BI 456906 is another medicine that is being developed for the treatment of overweight and obesity. Participants are in the study for about 7 months. During this time, they visit the study site regularly. For some of the visits, the participants remain at the study site for 1 or 2 nights. At the study visits, the doctors check the health of the participants and note any health problems that could have been caused by BI 1820237, semaglutide, or BI 456906.

Start date: February 17, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The CVT-SFA Trial investigates the inhibition of restenosis using the CVT Everolimus-coated PTA Catheter in the treatment of de-novo occluded/ stenotic or re-occluded/restenotic superficial femoral or popliteal arteries.

NCT ID: NCT05724199 Active, not recruiting - Atopic Dermatitis Clinical Trials

A Study Assessing Rocatinlimab in Combination With Topical Corticosteroid and/or Topical Calcineurin Inhibitors in Adult Participants With Moderate-to-severe Atopic Dermatitis (AD)

ROCKET-SHUTTLE
Start date: February 21, 2023
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The coprimary objectives of the study are to: - evaluate the efficacy of rocatinlimab in combination with topical corticosteroid and/or topical calcineurin inhibitor (TCS/TCI), compared with placebo in combination with TCS/TCI at Week 24, assessed using Validated Investigator's Global Assessment for Atopic Dermatitis (vIGA-AD™). - evaluate the efficacy of rocatinlimab, in combination with TCS/TCI, compared with placebo in combination with TCS/TCI at Week 24, assessed using Eczema Area and Severity Index (EASI).

NCT ID: NCT05723848 Active, not recruiting - CIDP Clinical Trials

Electronic Monitoring of Disease Activity in Patients With Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy

EMDA CIDP
Start date: January 20, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This clinical, prospective study aims to evaluate the usefulness of electronically captured wearable data to assess disease activity in CIDP (chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy) patients undergoing IVIG treatment. Close clinical monitoring will complement smartwatch-acquired data to shed light on different patient clusters and end-of-dose phenomena.

NCT ID: NCT05721560 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Rotator Cuff Tears (RCTs)

SINEFIX-2022 Pilot Phase

Start date: September 12, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Shoulder pain is one of the most commonly reported musculoskeletal complaints, which negatively affects upper limb use, night rest, daily life activities, work, sports performance and autonomy. Rotator cuff disease represents the most common cause of shoulder pain and it is responsible for up to 70% of all shoulder related visits to clinicians. Its incidence furthermore is expected to grow as the population ages. A wide range of conditions are included under the umbrella term of rotator cuff disease, including rotator cuff tendinopathy, subacromial bursal pathology, and partial-thickness or full-thickness rotator cuff tears (RCTs). The latter ones, i.e. rotator cuff tears, form the indications for which the test devices, the SINEFIX implant and instruments, are intended. Despite the high prevalence of this condition, the pathophysiology and healing potential are not well understood, making the condition challenging to predictably treat in some patient populations. RCTs may occur in young people as a consequence of trauma (e.g. acute shoulder dislocation), however RCTs typically present in middle-aged or elderly people and cannot always be attributed to precipitating events or trauma. Instead, they can be attributed to degenerative processes, and are therefore referred to as degenerative RCTs. For RCTs, treatment options include both surgical and non-surgical (conservative) procedures. In this context, the SINEFIX implant and instruments were developed to treat adult patients with rotator cuff lesions of size up to 2 cm through arthroscopic reconstruction.

NCT ID: NCT05717621 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Vulvar Intraepithelial Neoplasia Grade 3

Clinical Trial With Local Decitabine Treatment of HPV-Induced VIN Grade 2/3 (DelVIN)

DelVIN
Start date: March 28, 2023
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This is a multicentre open labelled phase I trial evaluating the safety and preliminary efficacy of local decitabine treatment of human papillomavirus (HPV)-induced vulvar intraepithelial neoplasia (VIN) grade 2/3. The main purpose and primary objective of the study is to determine the recommended phase 2 dose (RP2D) of VTD-101 ointment for the topical treatment of HPV-induced VIN grade 2/3. The RP2D is defined as the dose that is safe, tolerable and effective. Corresponding endpoints are the rate of patients experiencing at least one dose limiting toxicity (DLT) and the rate of patients with clinical complete or partial response (cCR/cPR) according to adapted RECIST criteria. Secondary objectives are to further characterize the efficacy of topical treatment with VTD-101 ointment, to further evaluate the safety and tolerability of topical treatment with VTD-101 ointment, and to evaluate quality of life (QoL) in patients treated with VTD-101 ointment.
