There are about 25560 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Germany. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This is a non-interventional, multinational, multi-centre study with primary data collection, to further document the safety and efficacy of osilodrostat administered in routine clinical practice in patients treated with osilodrostat for endogenous Cushing's Syndrome
The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the efficacy and safety of subcutaneously (s.c.) administered secukinumab 300 mg in combination with glucocorticoid taper regimen compared to placebo in combination with glucocorticoid taper regimen, in adult patients with new onset of giant cell arteritis (GCA) who are in clinical remission and who are eligible for treatment with glucocorticoid-monotherapy as per current clinical practice and treatment guidelines for the targeted participant population, thereby supporting health technology assessments (HTAs) of secukinumab in Germany.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Nipocalimab versus placebo in participants with active idiopathic inflammatory myopathies (IIM).
The purpose of this study is to assess the anti-tumor activity of amivantamab as a monotherapy (Cohorts A, B, and C), to characterize the safety of amivantamab when added to standard-of care (SoC) chemotherapy in participants with metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) (Ph2 cohorts), and to assess the recommended phase 2 combination dose (RP2CD) of amivantamab when added to SoC chemotherapy (Ph1b cohorts).
Patients suffering from malignancies in advanced stages often develop brain metastases, which limit both the life span and the quality of life. Therapy options for multiple brain metastases may vary and range from stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), whole-brain radiotherapy (WBRT), chemotherapy, immunotherapy to palliative best supportive care. Especially the efficacy and toxicity of SRS compared to WBRT in patients with extensive brain metastases (>4) is not yet clear but of incremental relevance in this seriously ill cohort with a limited life span. These health-impaired patients might especially profit from a less toxic treatment that is also time sparing with 1 or few sessions in SRS versus 10 sessions in WBRT. On the other hand, no compromises in efficacy want to be done.
The purpose of this trial is to generate clinical evidence related to key performance outcomes of Endurant II/IIs Stent Graft Systems verses Gore Excluder / Excluder Conformable AAA Endoprosthesis in subjects with Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms. Subjects are randomized and imaging collected at all follow-up time points to assess the primary endpoint.
The purpose of this multi-national disease registry is to collect prospectively (with longitudinal follow-up) high-quality, standardized, and contemporaneous data to capture changes in the non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) treatment landscape and outcomes over time. The registry will capture data on participants; demographic, clinical characteristics (including biomarker data), treatment patterns, and effectiveness and safety outcomes for advanced NSCLC with mesenchymal-epithelial transition exon 14 (METex14) participants treated with systemic therapy.
The present study aims to investigate whether care improvement in patients after catheter ablation/cardioversion compared with standard care can be realized by using a digital eHealth platform with connected mobile sensors through early detection of atrial fibrillation recurrence and patient empowerment.
The aim of this prospective non-interventional multi-center trial is to study the prognostic value of intratumoral and systemic immune biomarkers in newly diagnosed non-metastatic head and neck cancer. Furthermore, the local immunological processes in the tumor will be correlated with the systemic immune status determined in the peripheral blood to identify prognostic immune signatures. In addition, tumor organoids will be generated ex vivo for functional biological analyses. The main objective is to create a prognostic score determined by clusters based on tumor immunologic criteria.
To identify pulmonary vascular disease in post/long-COVID-19 patients as a cause of dyspnea/exercise limitation and to differentiate it from other causes of dyspnea
