There are about 1933 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Colombia. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The aim of this study is to learn more about the following treatment options in adults with CIDP: - Subcutaneous self-infusion with HyQvia. - Intravenous infusion with Gammagard/Kiovig. Gammagard and Kiovig are the brand names for the same immunoglobulin compound. The study is in two parts. In Part 1, participants receive either HyQvia or a placebo subcutaneously. In Part 2 (only for participants who have a CIPD relapse during Part 1), participants will receive Gammagard Liquid/Kiovig intravenously. US participants will receive Gamunex-C. The first SC infusion will be given in the study clinic. The remaining SC infusions may be given in the study clinic or the participant's home. This will be decided by the study doctor and whether the participant or their caregiver can do the self-infusion.
The primary objective of this study is to compare the efficacy of andecaliximab (GS-5745) versus placebo in combination with modified fluorouracil (5-FU), leucovorin (LV), and oxaliplatin (OXA) (mFOLFOX6) as measured by overall survival.
The aim of this study is to understand the treatment patterns in patients with Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) or Chronic Thromboembolic Pulmonary Hypertension (CTEPH) during a switch of treatment to Adempas in real-life clinical practice. In addition, this study will describe patient demographics and reason for switching
The purpose of this study was to evaluate whether oral finerenone (study drug), in addition to standard daily therapy, is effective and safe in treating patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and diabetic kidney disease, when compared to a placebo.
The primary objective of this study was to demonstrate whether, in addition to standard of care, finerenone is superior to placebo in delaying the progression of kidney disease, as measured by the composite endpoint of time to first occurrence of kidney failure, a sustained decrease of estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) ≥40% from baseline over at least 4 weeks, or renal death.
In this study, all patients must have already completed first-line chemotherapy to treat extensive-stage disease small cell lung cancer. The purpose of this study is to show that nivolumab, or nivolumab plus ipilimumab followed by nivolumab by itself, will prolong overall survival when administered as consolidation treatment in patients that are stable or responding after chemotherapy. Patients receiving treatment will be compared with patients taking placebo.
This Phase 3 study was designed to demonstrate the net benefit of sotagliflozin versus placebo in patients with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D).
Primary Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of dupilumab, compared with placebo, for reducing the use of maintenance oral corticosteroids (OCS) in participants with severe steroid-dependent asthma. Secondary Objectives: - To evaluate the safety and tolerability of dupilumab. - To evaluate the effect of dupilumab in improving participants-reported outcomes. - To evaluate dupilumab systemic exposure and the incidence of treatment-emergent antidrug antibodies.
The purpose of this study is to compare the long-term joint safety and efficacy (pain relief) of the investigational study drug, tanezumab compared to non-steroidal anti inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) in subjects with osteoarthritis of the hips or knees.
The analgesic approach in labor can be done in different ways, among which the neuraxial approach has shown the best analgesic results and fetal outcomes. Currently, programmed epidural intermittent bolus has been included in the neuraxial approach for a better distribution of the solution into the epidural space as compared with the continuous infusion strategy. In this study, the investigators seek to compare both strategies in 132 laboring women.
