Endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) is a common procedure that requires a long procedural time. Procedure Sedation is commonly provided to alleviate patients' discomfort and facilitate the implementation of procedures. We conducted a prospective study to determine the effect of intravenous infusion of lidocaine in the cognitive domain of the postoperative quality of recovery scale on day 3 after ESD.

In this study, investigators aimed to develop and validate a risk score to predict severe outcomes (e.g., mortality and ICU admission) in children who were admitted to the Children's Hospital of Fudan University between 2017 and 2022 due to community-acquired pneumonia (CAP). The objectives were as follows. 1. Develop a risk prediction model based on demographic, comorbidity, clinical characteristics, laboratory data, and chest radiographic reports to predict severe outcomes among children hospitalized with CAP; 2. Develop a risk scoring system and determine the cut-off point; 3. Externally validate the easy-to-use risk score.

Data were obtained from China NOSES Database (CNDB). The primary outcomes included time to first flatus, postoperative hospital stays, 30-day postoperative complication and hospital mortality. The secondary outcomes were overall survival (OS) and disease-free survival (DFS).

The goal of this clinical trial is to examine the effects that functional training may have on the development of fundamental motor skills and to create a systematic functional training program suitable for healthy children aged 6-7 years. The main question[s] it aims to answer are: - [To examine the effects of functional training on FMS among children aged 6-7 years.] - [To compare the effects of functional training on FMS between boys and girls] This study will include an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group will engage in functional training, while the control group will follow the state-mandated physical education curriculum. Through experiments, we will investigate the effect of functional training on children's fundamental motor skills and assess whether the experimental group's intervention effect is superior to the control group. The samples in this study were normal Chinese children aged 6-7 years. There were 40 people in both the experimental and control groups, including 20 boys and 20 girls

A Research Study Looking at How a Single Dose of the Medicine NNC0194-0499 Behaves in Chinese Men

This study looks at how a new study medicine called NNC0194-0499 behaves in the body of Chinese men. Three different dose levels will be tested. Participant will get only one of the three different dose levels of NNC0194-0499. Which dose participant will get will be decided by chance. NNC0194-0499 is a medicine under clinical investigation. It means that the medicine has not yet been approved by the health authorities. Participant will get 1 or 2 injections of the study medicine. It will be injected with a needle into a skin fold on stomach. The study will last for a maximum of 64 days. Participant will not be able to take part in the study if the study doctor considers there is a risk for participant's health.
