NCT ID: NCT04781517 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Lumbar Spine Degeneration

Development of a Patient-reported Outcome Instrument for Patients With Lumbar Degenerative Disease After Lumbar Fusion

DPROIPLDDALF
Start date: May 1, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The commonly used scales (ODI+JOA-29+VAS) lack the assessment of lumbar stiffness, and there is no scale for evaluating lumbar stiffness in China.Based on the Delphi method and the analytic hierarchy process, this study will improve and optimize the quality of life evaluation system for patients with severe degenerative lumbar disease, so as to obtain a concise, practical, and effective patient-reported outcome instrument.

NCT ID: NCT04781413 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Stage IIIC Gastric Cancer

Nab-PTX Plus S-1 and Sintilimab as Adjuvant Therapy in Patients With Stage IIIC Gastric Cancer

Start date: March 1, 2021
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

In this study, we combine Nab-PTX, S-1 and sintilimab as adjuvant regimen to patients with stage IIIC GC. We are aiming to investigate the recommended dose of this regimen in a phase I study and estimate the toxicity and efficacy of this regimen in a phase II study.

NCT ID: NCT04781270 Recruiting - Liver Metastases Clinical Trials

mFOLFOXIRI+Bev vs. mFOLFOX6+Bev for RAS Mutant Unresectable Colorectal Liver-limited Metastases

Start date: April 15, 2021
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

Colorectal cancer patients with initially unresectable liver-only metastases may be cured after downsizing of metastases by conversion therapy. However, the optimal regimen of conversion therapy for RAS mutant patients has not been defined. In this study colorectal cancer patients with initially unresectable liver-only metastases, as prospectively confirmed by a local multidisciplinary team (MDT) according to predefined criteria, will be tested for RAS and BRAF tumor mutation status. Patients with RAS mutant and BRAF wild type will be randomised between modified FOLFOXIRI (mFOLFOXIRI) plus bevacizumab and modified FOLFOX6 (mFOLFOX6) plus bevacizumab. Patient imaging will be reviewed for resectability by MDT, consisting of at least one radiologist and three liver surgeons every assessment. MDT review will be performed prior to randomization as well as during treatment, as described in the protocol.

NCT ID: NCT04780607 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Outcomes of Mitral Valve Surgery in Patients Affected by Rheumatic Heart Disease

Outcomes of Mitral Valve Surgery in Patients Affected by Rheumatic Heart Disease

Start date: January 1, 2011
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

rheumatic heart disease remains the majority valvular disease in low and middle income countries, which mostly affected mitral valve, surgical treatment is the most effective strategy to improve the outcomes of middle or late-stage RHD patient, however, whether mitral valve repair surgery is superior to replacement or other evolving interventional device remains controversial, this study aims to investigate the results of repair surgery compared with replacement or other treatment strategy from international multicenters.

NCT ID: NCT04780399 Recruiting - Alzheimer Disease Clinical Trials

Efficacy and Safety of Yangxue Qingnao Pills in the Treatment of Mild to Moderate Alzheimer's Disease

Start date: November 9, 2021
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

As a traditional Chinese medicine compound, Yangxue Qingnao Pills is proven to have beneficial effects on learning and memory ability in animal models of Alzheimer's disease(AD). The purpose of the study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Yangxue Qingnao Pills on patients with mild to moderate AD. This phase II randomized, double-blind, parallel controlled trial include a 2 weeks run-in period, and a 48 weeks double-blind treatment period of after randomization. Participants will be randomly allocated to Yangxue Qingnao pills high dose group (7.5 g per time,2 times per day) ; and Yangxue Qingnao pills low dose group (5 g per time,2 times per day), or placebo group. The outcome measures include general cognitive function, ability of daily living, and behavioural and psychological symptoms in AD patients.

Start date: December 15, 2020
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Albumin-bound Paclitaxel Combination With Capecitabine Versus Capecitabine Monotherapy in Paclitaxel/Docetaxel-resistant Advanced Breast Cancer

NCT ID: NCT04779320 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Crohn's Disease (CD)

A Study of Vedolizumab in Children and Teenagers With Moderate to Severe Crohn's Disease (CD)

Start date: April 30, 2022
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

Vedolizumab is a medicine that helps to reduce inflammation and pain in the digestive system. In this study, children and teenagers with moderate to severe Crohn's disease will be treated with vedolizumab. The main aim of the study is to check if participants achieve remission after treatment with the vedolizumab. Remission means symptoms improve or disappear and an endoscopy shows no signs of inflammation. Participants will receive 3 infusions of vedolizumab over 6 weeks. Then, those who have a clinical response will receive either a high dose or low dose of vedolizumab once every 8 weeks. They will receive the same dose every time.

NCT ID: NCT04779307 Recruiting - Colitis, Ulcerative Clinical Trials

They will receive the same dose every time.

NCT ID: NCT04779008 Recruiting - Coronary Disease Clinical Trials

Long-term Remote Ischemic Preconditioning Improves Myocardial Perfusion and Prognosis of Patients After CABG

L-RIPC-CABG
Start date: March 10, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Remote Ischemic preconditioning (RIPC) has been reported to improve myocardial microcirculation, promote collateral circulation recruitment, and improve myocardial perfusion in patients. Two large randomized controlled trials demonstrated a perioperative cardioprotective effect of RIPC (reduced troponin levels), but did not find that a single preoperative RIPC improved long-term outcomes of coronary artery bypass grafting(CABG).The effect of a single RIPC before CABG may be too short. This study aims to investigate whether long-term RIPC improved myocardial perfusion in patients 3 months and 6 months after CABG surgery , and to detect changes in blood vascular endothelial growth factor, Nitrc Oxide, adenosine, and Endothelin-1, and to observe MACCE event rates at 12 months.
