Neuroimaging Combining Biomarkers for Identifying Long-term Cognitive Dysfunction and Delirium

Postoperative Cognitive Dysfunction(POCD) is commonly seen in cardiac surgery, which may lead to poor pognosis. Cerebral small vessel disease(CVSD) is refer as the main resource of delirium among elderly people. In the study, CVSD will be diagnosed using multimodal MRI. And we want to select a high correlating COPD biomarker through CyTOF. We also want to investigate a medical model to select the high risk patients who may suffer from POCD after cardiac surgery.

Olverembatinib Combined With Reduced-Intensity Chemotherapy and Venetoclax for de Novo Ph+ ALL

The introduction of TKIs has greatly improved the prognosis of Ph+ ALL patients. The third-generation TKI ponatinib in combination with chemotherapy has demonstrated superior efficacy to first- and second-generation TKIs. However, unfortunately, ponatinib is not available in mainland China. Olverembatinib is the only third-generation TKI drug currently approved in mainland China. Venetoclax is an oral selective inhibitor of Bcl-2, and small exploratory clinical studies have demonstrated that venetoclax in combination with ponatinib showed high rates of CR as well as molecular response in relapsed/refractory Ph+ ALL. This study will explore the safety and efficacy of olverembatinib in combination with reduced-intensity chemotherapy and venetoclax in patients with newly diagnosed Ph+ ALL.

The Effects of Different Outdoor Light Exposure Modes on Retinal Blood Flow

In 2020, the overall myopia rate among children and adolescents in my country was 52.7%. The COVID-19 pandemic has increased students' time of indoor eye-using, and it showed that the light exposure intensity of myopic students is lower than that of non-myopia students. Studies have found that the light wave bandwidth has a significant impact on the emmetropization of the eye, and white light can promote emmetropia more than monochromatic light. It shows that outdoor exercise has a protective effect on the occurrence and development of myopia in children and adolescents, but the specific mechanism is still unclear. Retinal blood flow is sensitive to myopic stimuli, and is a short-term indicator of the relationship between light environment and myopia. This study selected retinal blood flow as the primary outcome, aiming to compare the effects of different outdoor light exposure modes on retinal blood flow after 1 hour of intense eye use, and provide clues for the prevention and control of myopia.

The Effect of Sun-like Spectrum With Different Spectrum Composition on Retinal Blood Flow

In 2020, the overall myopia rate among children and adolescents was 52.7% in China. The COVID-19 pandemic has increased students' time of indoor eye-using, and it showed that the light exposure intensity of myopic students is lower than that of non-myopia students. Studies have found that in addition to exposure to light intensity, the occurrence and development of myopia is also related to the color temperature and wavelength band of light. The sun-like spectrum refers to the spectrum with continuous wavelength bands. Animal experiments suggest that sun-like artificial lighting can prevent myopia, but the relationship between sun-like artificial lighting with different color temperatures and myopia is unknown. Clinical trials suggest that artificial lighting with a sun-like spectrum can delay fundus blood flow decline. One hypothesis is that reduced choroidal blood flow leads to scleral hypoxia and promotes the development of myopia. This study aims at comparing the effects of sun-like spectrum artificial lighting with different dominant wavelengths on the human eye, and providing clues for the prevention and control of myopia.

COPD Treatment by Transplantation of Autologous Bronchial Basal Cells

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a group of disease characterized by obstructed airflow. Usually, the lung structure is gradually impaired along with the progression of the disease. Recently, the treatment of disease is challenged by shortage of approaches for regenerating the injured lung tissue. Here in this study, investigators intend to perform a single-centered, open, concurrent-controlled phase I/II clinical trial with autologous bronchial basal cells on COPD treatment since they were proved to regenerate lung tissue in animal models. The participants is recruited and divided into experiment group and control group. For patients from experiment group, bronchial basal cells will be isolated, expanded, carefully characterized in vitro and transplanted autologously into lung by fiberoptic bronchoscopy. No intervention is performed for patients from control group. During the study, the safety and efficacy will be evaluated on all the subjects by measuring the key indicators.
