NCT ID: NCT06100302 Recruiting - Depression Clinical Trials

Study on the Mechanism of Immune Inflammation in Cognitive Impairment of Depression

depression
Start date: July 1, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

The patients with depression were observed and followed up to evaluate the changes of symptoms and cognitive function in patients with depression at different time points before and after drug treatment. At the same time, immunometabolism indicators in serum, urine and stool were detected to screen out immunoinflammatory markers related to cognitive function and treatment response in patients with depression, hoping to provide a new strategy for optimal treatment of depression.

NCT ID: NCT06100029 Recruiting - Delirium in Old Age Clinical Trials

The Effect of Lavender Essential Oil for Delirium in Elderly Intensive Care Unit Patients: Study Protocol

Start date: November 1, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Elderly critically ill patients in the intensive care unit (ICU) are at risk of delirium, which is primarily characterized by acute consciousness impairment and perceptual, cognitive, and memory impairment, resulting in excess death, care expenditures, and acquired dementia, depression and anxiety, which severely affect the prognosis of critically ill patients. However, there are currently no effective pharmacological strategies for preventing delirium. Inhalation aromatherapy has been proven to benefits the sleep disorder, anxiety or depression and lavender oil is one of the most used essential oils. Therefore, we hypothesized that the use of lavender would reduce the incidence rate of delirium in ICU patients.

NCT ID: NCT06100016 Recruiting - Colorectal Cancer Clinical Trials

A Clinical Study Aims to Assess the Consistency of Clinical Efficacy in Colorectal Cancer Treatment and Drug Susceptibility Outcomes Using a Novel Drug Susceptibility Testing Method

Start date: October 18, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The study is a real-world observational clinical study. Patients diagnosed as colorectal cancer through histopathology were screened and enrolled. Before anti-tumor treatment, colonoscopy biopsy tissue specimens, surgical specimens, and malignant pleural effusion or ascites specimens, etc. are collected. The investigators will perform a drug sensitivity testing based on a novel drug susceptibility testing method to test the commonly used anti-tumor treatment regimens. Patients were given conventional anti-tumor treatment according to the medical judgment of the doctors. Finally, the investigator will evaluate the consistency of clinical efficacy in colorectal cancer treatment and drug susceptibility outcomes.

NCT ID: NCT06100003 Recruiting - Gastric Cancer Clinical Trials

A Clinical Study Aims to Assess the Consistency of Clinical Efficacy in Gastric Cancer Treatment and Drug Susceptibility Outcomes Using a Novel Drug Susceptibility Testing Method

Start date: October 18, 2023

NCT ID: NCT06099821 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Digestive System Cancers

KN046 Plus Regorafenib or Apatinib in MSI-H Digestive System Cancers Resistant to PD-1/PD-L1 Blockade

Start date: October 25, 2023
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The study is an interventional phase II clinical trial aiming to evaluate the efficacy and safety of KN046, a PD-L1 and CTLA-4 bispecific antibody, in combination with regorafenib or apatinib for microsatellite instability-high digestive system cancers resistant to PD-1/PD-L1 blockade. KN046 plus regorafenib will be given for patients with colorectal cancers, and KN046 plus apatinib will be given for patients with gastric cancers (including esophageal-gastric junction cancers) and other kinds of digestive system cancers.

The researcher will compare the [periodontal health group] to see if there is [different flora].

NCT ID: NCT06099496 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Nervous System Diseases

Association Analysis of Cardiovascular and Nervous System Diseases and Intestinal Microbiome Based on Multi-omics Big Data and Related Applications

Start date: April 1, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

Research purpose 1. Combined with multi-omics data and advanced data mining methods, we explored the pathogenesis and potential application pathway of intestinal microbiome mediated by specific cardiovascular diseases (such as idiopathic ventricular tachycardia, stenosis after coronary artery stenting injury, etc.) and nervous system diseases (such as carotid atherosclerosis, moyamoya disease, etc.). 2. The secondary goal of this study is the construction of risk prediction model. Based on the pathogenesis identified by multi-omics association analysis, detailed dietary information and clinical information related to cardiovascular and nervous system diseases, the risk of cardiovascular and nervous system diseases was assessed and the disease risk model was constructed. 3. Based on the key genes and microorganisms excavated, disease-related machine learning models can be built, and models can be built to prevent and treat diseases. Research background Cardiovascular and nervous system diseases such as arrhythmias (atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, ventricular fibrillation, postoperative vascular stenosis injury, etc.), heart failure, atherosclerosis (coronary heart disease, stroke, peripheral vascular disease, carotid atherosclerosis, etc.), epilepsy, moyamoya disease, etc., are currently leading to the main diseases affecting the health and death of residents in China. Through the unremitting efforts of many scientists, the research on the association between intestinal flora and cardiovascular diseases (ventricular tachycardia/atrial fibrillation, carotid atherosclerosis, etc.) and nervous system diseases (Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, carotid atherosclerosis, etc.) has made breakthrough progress. However, the study of gut microbiota is still in its infancy, and it is not possible to deeply understand the complex regulatory processes between heart disease and nervous system diseases and gut microbiota, involving a large number of host genes, host metabolites, and associated bacteria and bacteria-related metabolites. Based on multi-omics data, the data integration method combined with machine learning analyzes the connection between cardiovascular and nervous system and gut microbes, helping to deepen the research on the mechanism related to heart disease and nervous system under the regulation of gut microbes and providing new ideas for the prevention and treatment of related diseases. This study will also promote the implementation of clinical interventions with precise flora and provide new ideas for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases and neurological diseases.
