There are about 36818 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in China. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
Fractures are common accidents for long-term hospitalized patients with schizophrenia (SZ) in psychiatric hospitals, and once they occur, patients usually endure the pain of fractures for a long time. Accumulating evidence has supported implementing dance/movement therapy (DMT) as a promising intervention for patients with SZ. However, no study has been conducted to investigate its role in balance ability and metabolic parameters in SZ. This study was designed to investigate the treatment outcome of a 12-week DMT intervention on bone mineral density, balance ability, and metabolic profile in patients with SZ using a randomized, controlled trial design.
This is a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled phase III clinical study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of STI-1558 in adult subjects with mild/moderate COVID-19. One thousand and two hundred adult subjects with mild/moderate COVID-19 (including subjects with high risk factors for progression into severe cases) are planned to be enrolled and randomized in a ratio of 1:1 into the test group or the placebo group (600 in the test group and 600 in the placebo group).
Objective: To evaluate the application effect of continuous nursing intervention in type 2 diabetic retinopathy (DR), and to explore its clinical application value. Methods:Patients with type 2 DR admitted to our Hospital from June 2019 to June 2022 were selected as the research objects and divided into intervention group and control group by random number table method. The control group received routine nursing intervention, and the intervention group received continuous nursing intervention on the basis of the control group. The related effect evaluation indexes such as fasting blood glucose, 2-hour postprandial blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin and visual acuity were collected and compared between the two groups at discharge, 1 year and 2 years after discharge. The readmission rate of the two groups was counted to evaluate the effect of continuous nursing intervention.
This is an open-label, single dose, mass balance and biotransformation study conducted at 1 study center in China. This study will evaluate the absorption, distribution, metabolism, and elimination (ADME), mass balance, safety, and tolerability of a single dose of intravenously administered [14C]Iruplinalkib (WX-0593) in Chinese healthy male volunteers.
we explore the learning curve and the impact of technique optimization on surgical outcomes and the first to construct a referenceable learning phase for performing robotic gastric cancer surgery.
Patients undergoing gynecological surgery are at high risk of developing postoperative sleep disorders. Intraoperative opioid use is detrimental to the patient's postoperative recovery of gastrointestinal function. Esketamine has sedative, hypnotic, analgesic, inflammatory response suppression, and antidepressant effects. Its hypnotic mechanism may be related to its rapid blockade of NMDA receptors and hyperpolarization-activated cyclic nucleotide-gated cation channels. Also can reduce the application of perioperative opioids, which in turn promotes the recovery of gastrointestinal function in patients after surgery.
Surgical resection is the mainstay for gastric cancer. Surgical stress response, like insulin resistance and catabolism, is inevitable and is a risk factor for postoperative outcome. To cope with this stress, the enhanced recovery protocol has been proposed and successfully implemented in clinical practice. Recently, prehabilitation have attracted increasingly attention, which is the preoperative part of enhanced recovery pathway. Prehabtilitation are bundles of evidenced elements in order to improve patient's functional capacity. Patients with gastric cancer are usually suffered from nutritional risk, anxiety and frailty. In this trial, we investigate whether multimodal prehabilitation (exercise, nutrition and psychological support) could improve patient's functional status to better tolerate surgical trauma.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of different 6% hydroxyethyl starch (130/0.4) coload volumes on the 90% effective dose of norepinephrine infusion prophylaxis for hypotension during spinal anesthesia for cesarean section.
The clinical trial studies the human pathogen of SARS-CoV-2, with a specificity in the circulating Spike 2 protein in the human system. The clinical trial hypothesizes that SARS-CoV-2 human pathogen arises from immune attacks, underlying the severe physiological symptoms that can be lethal. It further hypothesizes that the vaccines do not deal with the Spike 2 protein that causes the immune attacks.
The goal of this interventional study is to evaluate the efficacy of probiotics with prebiotics on overweight. 200 eligible participants with overweight will be enrolled and randomized to consume four study products for 3 months. Reseachers will compare the four groups to evaluate whether there is significant improvement on overweight for participants in the study product of probiotics with prebiotics.
