NCT ID: NCT02440412 Completed - Asymptomatic State Clinical Trials

Effect of Massage Therapy in Cortisol Level

MTCL
Start date: July 2014
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study evaluates the effect of a single session of Massage Therapy in salivary cortisol level. All participants were assessed on three conditions: Massage session, rest in supine position listening music, and under normal working conditions. The hypothesis of the investigators is that the effect of the massage action in reduction of cortisol is superior to only rest.

NCT ID: NCT02437890 Completed - Clinical trials for Lupus Erythematosus, Systemic

A Phase II Study to Evaluate Safety and Efficacy of ALX-0061 in Subjects With Systemic Lupus Erythematosus

Start date: July 2015
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Primary objective: To assess the efficacy and safety of different dose regimens of ALX-0061 administered subcutaneously (s.c.) to subjects with moderate to severe active, seropositive systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) compared to placebo. Secondary objectives: To assess the pharmacokinetics (PK), pharmacodynamics (PD), immunogenicity, flare rate, steroid reduction and health-related quality of life, with different dose regimens of ALX-0061.

NCT ID: NCT02437318 Completed - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Study Assessing the Efficacy and Safety of Alpelisib Plus Fulvestrant in Men and Postmenopausal Women With Advanced Breast Cancer Which Progressed on or After Aromatase Inhibitor Treatment.

SOLAR-1
Start date: July 23, 2015
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

To determine whether treatment with alpelisib plus fulvestrant prolongs progression-free survival compared to fulvestrant and placebo in men and postmenopausal women with hormone receptor positive (HR+), HER2-negative advanced breast cancer, who received prior treatment with an Aromatase Inhibitor either as (neo)adjuvant or for advanced disease.

NCT ID: NCT02425891 Completed - Clinical trials for Triple Negative Breast Cancer

A Study of Atezolizumab in Combination With Nab-Paclitaxel Compared With Placebo With Nab-Paclitaxel for Participants With Previously Untreated Metastatic Triple-Negative Breast Cancer (IMpassion130)

Start date: June 23, 2015
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This multicenter, randomized, double-blind study evaluated the efficacy, safety, and pharmacokinetics of atezolizumab (MPDL3280A) administered with nab-paclitaxel compared with placebo in combination with nab-paclitaxel in participants with locally advanced or metastatic triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) who have not received prior systemic therapy for metastatic breast cancer (mBC). The safety of single-agent nab-paclitaxel has been determined in previous studies of participants with mBC and the safety data to date suggest that atezolizumab can be safely combined with standard chemotherapy agents.

NCT ID: NCT02415595 Terminated - Clinical trials for Infection, Human Immunodeficiency Virus

Dose-finding Study of BMS-955176 to Treat HIV-1 Infected Treatment-naive Adults

Start date: May 12, 2015
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to find at least one dose of BMS-955176 that will be safe, effective and tolerable for HIV-1 infected treatment naive adults.

NCT ID: NCT02415400 Completed - Clinical trials for Acute Coronary Syndromes

A Study of Apixaban in Patients With Atrial Fibrillation, Not Caused by a Heart Valve Problem, Who Are at Risk for Thrombosis (Blood Clots) Due to Having Had a Recent Coronary Event, Such as a Heart Attack or a Procedure to Open the Vessels of the Heart

Start date: June 4, 2015
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to determine if Apixaban is safer than a Vitamin K Antagonist given for 6 months in terms of bleeding in patients with an irregular heart beat (atrial fibrillation) and a recent heart attack or a recent procedure to open up a blood vessel in the heart. All patients would also be taking a class of medicines called P2Y12 inhibitors (such as clopidogrel/Plavix) and be treated for up to 6 months. The primary focus will be a comparison of the bleeding risk of Apixaban, with or without aspirin, versus a Vitamin K antagonist, such as warfarin, with or without aspirin.

NCT ID: NCT02414854 Completed - Asthma Clinical Trials

Evaluation of Dupilumab in Patients With Persistent Asthma (Liberty Asthma Quest)

Start date: April 27, 2015
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

Primary Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of dupilumab (SAR231893 / REGN668) in participants with persistent asthma. Secondary Objectives: - To evaluate the safety and tolerability of dupilumab. - To evaluate the effect of dupilumab on improving participant-reported outcomes including health-related quality of life. - To evaluate dupilumab systemic exposure and incidence of anti-drug antibodies.

FUTURE5
Start date: August 31, 2015
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study was to demonstrate efficacy including effect on inhibition of progression of structural damage, safety and tolerability up to 2 years with primary focus at Week 16 (week 24 for structural damage), to support the use of secukinumab pre-filled syringe (PFS) by subcutaneous (s.c.) self-administration with or without loading regimen in subjects with active Psoriatic Arthritis (PsA) despite current or previous NSAID, DMARD therapy and/or previous anti-TNFα therapy. Long term efficacy up to 2 years was based on signs and symptoms of joint/bone structure preservation (X-ray) and improvement in physical function measured by Health Assessment Questionnaire - Disability Index (HAQ-DI©), as well as skin and nail improvement for psoriasis signs.
