NCT ID: NCT03275883 Completed - Clinical trials for Liver Transplantation

Arterial Patency in Liver Transplantation

Start date: September 1, 2017
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

The aim of this study is to determine the risk profile of hepatic artery occlusion in liver transplant recipients who received an aortohepatic conduits, analyzing all consecutive cadaveric liver transplantations from July 2007 to 31st December 2016. Medical records will be examined and adverse events will be analyzed and categorized using the Clavien-Dindo classification and Comprehensive Complication Index.

NCT ID: NCT03275766 Completed - Clinical trials for Major Depressive Disorder

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) for Motor Symptoms in Psychiatric Disorders

Start date: June 1, 2016
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Psychomotor slowing may occur in major psychiatric disorders, such as major depressive disorders or schizophrenia spectrum disorders. It refers to slowing of fine motor skills, motor planning and gross motor behavior. In major depression and schizophrenia, psychomotor slowing is associated with alterations of premotor cortex, dorsolateral prefrontal cortex and basal ganglia. This randomized, sham-controlled, prospective trial will test, whether 15 sessions of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) may ameliorate psychomotor slowing in schizophrenia or major depression.

NCT ID: NCT03274778 Withdrawn - Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials

Effect of Ruxolitinib on Tumor Infiltrating Myeloid Cells

Start date: September 1, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Ruxolitinib will be dispensed to patients candidate to prostatectomy immediately after histological diagnosis of prostate adenocarcinoma. The treatment will be given for 28 days followed by a prostatectomy thereafter. Tumor material and blood samples will be analysed before, during and after the treatment with Ruxolitinib.

NCT ID: NCT03274752 Completed - Clinical trials for Myocardial Infarction

Paroxetine-mediated GRK2 Inhibition to Reduce Cardiac Remodeling After Acute Myocardial Infarction

CARE-AMI
Start date: October 26, 2017
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This study evaluates the off-target effect of paroxetine to reverse cardiac remodeling and improve left ventricular ejection fraction in patients after acute myocardial infarction. Half of the participants will receive paroxetine, while the other half will receive placebo treatment.

NCT ID: NCT03274687 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Prostate Adenocarcinoma

Hypofractionated Radiation Therapy or Conventional Radiation Therapy After Surgery in Treating Patients With Prostate Cancer

Start date: July 28, 2017
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This randomized phase III trial studies how well hypofractionated radiation therapy works compared to conventional radiation therapy after surgery in treating patients with prostate cancer. Hypofractionated radiation therapy delivers higher doses of radiation therapy over a shorter period of time and may kill more tumor cells and have fewer side effects. Conventional radiation therapy uses high energy x-rays, gamma rays, neutrons, protons, or other sources to kill tumor cells and shrink tumors. It is not yet known whether giving hypofractionated radiation therapy or conventional radiation therapy after surgery may work better in treating patients with prostate cancer.

NCT ID: NCT03274492 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma

A Study Comparing the Efficacy and Safety of Polatuzumab Vedotin With Rituximab-Cyclophosphamide, Doxorubicin, and Prednisone (R-CHP) Versus Rituximab-Cyclophosphamide, Doxorubicin, Vincristine, and Prednisone (R-CHOP) in Participants With Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma

POLARIX
Start date: November 16, 2017
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This Phase III, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study will compare the efficacy, safety, and pharmacokinetics of polatuzumab vedotin plus R-CHP versus R-CHOP in participants with previously untreated diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL).

NCT ID: NCT03271996 Terminated - Pilonidal Sinus Clinical Trials

Fistulectomy vs. Modified Karydakis Procedure for Pilonidal Sinus

Start date: April 2012
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study wants to improve patient care affected by pilonidal sinus during and after surgery. Pilonidal sinus excision is a frequent procedure, despite this, there is still not an appropriate surgical technique because of a lack of quality comparative studies.

NCT ID: NCT03270423 Completed - Obesity, Adolescent Clinical Trials

PathMate2: The Impact of Health Information System Services on the Effects of Therapy in Overweight Teenagers

PM2
Start date: January 30, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Randomised controlled trial in overweight adolescents using a health App.

NCT ID: NCT03270319 Recruiting - Shock Clinical Trials

Evaluation of Three Dimensional Echocardiography in Critical Care Medicine

3DICU
Start date: May 2016
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

Comparison of volumetric measurements obtained by three dimensional echocardiography with measurements obtained by thermodilution using a pulmonary artery catheter in the intensive care unit.

NCT ID: NCT03269747 Completed - Clinical trials for Brown Adipose Tissue
