NCT ID: NCT04701268 Recruiting - Rotator Cuff Tears Clinical Trials

Hemiverse Shoulder Prosthesis

Start date: July 15, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This clinical trial investigates the safety and the preliminary clinical benefit of the hemiverse shoulder prosthesis. Implantation of this newly developed hemi-prosthesis is intended for patients who do not qualify for a regular reverse or hemi-prosthesis due to severe medical conditions, poor bone stock or critical status of the rotator cuff. The expected benefit is, that patients will have a minimally invasive surgical procedure, only addressing the humeral shaft, however with the biomechanical advantage of a total reverse shoulder prosthesis, meaning, that with a minimally invasive surgery a comparable result as with a regular total shoulder prosthesis is accomplished. Patients will be closely monitored within the study protocol for 24 months and thereafter in regular interval as with a normal prosthetic follow-up.

NCT ID: NCT04700930 Active, not recruiting - Harm Reduction Clinical Trials

CBD Cigarettes Instead of Normal Cigarettes as Innovative Treatment for Schizophrenia

Start date: October 4, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Interventional study using Cannabidiol containing cigarettes as replacement of usual cigarettes Reduction of enforcement measures, improved acute treatment, harm reduction, and improvement of psychotic symptoms

NCT ID: NCT04700072 Active, not recruiting - Melanoma Clinical Trials

Substudy 02D: Safety and Efficacy of Pembrolizumab in Combination With Investigational Agents or Pembrolizumab Alone in Participants With Melanoma Brain Metastasis (MK-3475-02D/KEYMAKER-U02)

Start date: May 3, 2021
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Substudy 02D is part of a larger research study that is testing experimental treatments for melanoma, a type of skin cancer. The larger study is the umbrella study. The goal of substudy 02D is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of investigational treatment arms in programmed cell-death 1 (PD-1) naïve or PD-1 exposed participants with melanoma brain metastasis (MBM) and to identify the investigational agent(s) that, when used in combination, are superior to the current treatment options/historical control available. As of amendment 2 (effective 01DEC2022) enrollment into the treatment arm of pembrolizumab and lenvatinib has been discontinued.

NCT ID: NCT04699461 Terminated - Clinical trials for Refractory Follicular Lymphoma

Study to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of Loncastuximab Tesirine Versus Idelalisib in Participants With Relapsed or Refractory Follicular Lymphoma

LOTIS-6
Start date: November 4, 2021
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This study aims to evaluate the efficacy of single agent loncastuximab tesirine compared to idelalisib in participants with relapsed or refractory follicular lymphoma.

NCT ID: NCT04699149 Completed - Parkinson Disease Clinical Trials

Combining rTMS and Video Game-based Dexterity Training to Improve Dexterity in Parkinson's Disease

rTMSVR
Start date: November 11, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

We investigate the effectiveness of a combined repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) - video game-based training (VBT) dexterity intervention in Parkinson's diseases. The short and long-term benefits of this training program will be evaluated. For these purposes, a blinded sham controlled randomized controlled trial will be performed.

NCT ID: NCT04698837 Completed - SARS-CoV-2 Clinical Trials

Understanding Potential Airborne Transmission and the Protective Value of Type II Surgical Masks in SARS-CoV-2

aeroCOVID1
Start date: February 2, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Modes of transmission of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) and specifically the proportion of airborne transmission in this infection is unknown. In the aeroCOVID study, a highly efficient bioaerosol and droplet sampling dummy is used to emulate a susceptible healthcare worker (HCW) and to perform patient proximity sampling. The dummy will measure the dummy-inhaled dose of SARS-CoV-2 in two particle size fractions in a standardized interaction with hospitalized coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) patients. All measurements are performed in a masked and unmasked dummy setup in parallel, in order to gain further information on the protection of type II masks against the respective particle size exposure.

NCT ID: NCT04697875 Completed - Clinical trials for Hypertension, Pulmonary

Hemodynamic Effects of Normobaric Hypoxia During Exercise in Patients With Pulmonary Hypertension

HEXA
Start date: February 1, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

To study hemodynamic effects of acute normobaric hypoxia during exercise in patients with pulmonary hypertension in a single-center randomized controlled trial.

NCT ID: NCT04697862 Completed - Clinical trials for Hypertension, Pulmonary

Effects of Normobaric Hypoxia During Exercise in Patients With Pulmonary Hypertension Receiving Sildenafil

HEXASH
Start date: February 1, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

To study the effect of acute normobaric hypoxia during exercise in patients with pulmonary hypertension with/without Sildenafil

This is an external control, observational, retrospective study designed to compare clinical outcomes for pralsetinib compared with best available therapy for patients with RET-fusion positive advanced NSCLC.

NCT ID: NCT04695899 Active, not recruiting - Partial-edentulism Clinical Trials

Zirconia Implants for Replacement of a Single Tooth

Start date: March 1, 2017
Phase:
Study type: Observational

First, the surgical insertion of a ceramic (zirconia) dental implant will be performed in a single-tooth gap according to current state-of-the-art protocols. After a 3-months healing phase, a ceramic tooth replacement (a.k.a. implant crown) will be screw-retained on the implant and will be ready for full chewing, aesthetic and speech function.
