Arginine methylation mediated by protein arginine methyl-transferases (PRMTs) is an important post-translational modification of proteins involved in a diverse range of cellular processes. Misregulation and overexpression of PRMT1 (a type I PRMT) has been associated with a number of solid and hematopoietic cancers. GSK3368715 leads to inhibition of tumor cell growth across tumor types with cytotoxic response observed in lymphoma, acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and a subset of solid tumor cell lines. This study will assess the safety, pharmacokinetics (PK), pharmacodynamics (PD), food effect and preliminary clinical activity of GSK33368715 in participants with relapsed/refractory DLBCL and selected solid tumors with frequent methyl-thioadenosine phosphorylase (MTAP)-deficiency. The study will consist of two parts. In Part 1 (Dose Escalation) escalating doses of GSK3368715 will be evaluated and recommended phase 2 dose (RP2D) will be established in participants with selected solid relapsed/refractory tumors. Once a RP2D is identified, a food effect sub-study will be initiated to determine the effect of a high-fat, high calorie meal on the bioavailability of GSK3368715. In Part 2 (Dose Expansion), this RP2D will be further investigated in two expansion cohorts; participants with DLBCL (Expansion Cohort 2A) and relapsed/refractory solid tumors including pancreatic, bladder, and non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC)(Expansion Cohort 2B). The study includes a screening period, an intervention period and follow up.

Traditional postoperative care has been challenged recently to improve and speedup recovery (including the return of bowel function) such that patients can be discharged to home more quickly. This approach includes earlier mobilization of the patient, and introducing solid food sooner. Additionally, there is evidence in adults to suggest that "sham feeding" by chewing gum may also speed up bowel recovery so the patient may tolerate a solid diet earlier. The aim of this study is to determine if gum chewing can enhance bowel recovery in children who undergo abdominal surgery.
In this study, the investigators will be examining the effects of the deep repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) using the H1 coil in patients over the age of 60 diagnosed with mild to early-moderate Alzheimer's disease (AD) or mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and comorbid Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) who have been unable to tolerate or failed to respond to antidepressant medications. The coil was designed to stimulate deeper regions of the left dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC). Based on prior research, the investigators propose that active stimulation with the H1 coil for 4 weeks may result in significant remission rates and will be tolerable and safe.
Objective: The primary aim of this 60 patient feasibility trial is to determine if, for critically ill patients treated with SLED for AKI, randomization to receive albumin (25%) boluses versus normal saline placebo boluses is feasible, with respect to the recruitment rate, blinding and adherence to the protocol.
This study evaluates the effects arginine on osteoarthritis (OA) in adults. Participants will be randomly divided into two groups, taking arginine and nothing, respectively. Outcomes will be evaluated by lab test results on OA joint cartilage and self-administered questionnaires. The hypothesis is that arginine can slow down or reverse OA.
Primary Objectives: - To demonstrate that the aggravation of seasonal allergic rhinitis symptoms in the presence of pollutants is observed using an Environmental Exposure Unit. - To evaluate the efficacy of fexofenadine hydrochloride in subjects suffering from seasonal allergic rhinitis symptoms aggravated in the presence of diesel exhaust particulates. Secondary Objective: To evaluate the safety of a single dose of fexofenadine hydrochloride 180 mg.
