The purpose of this study is to evaluate if the combination of GSK3359609 and tremelimumab is safe and tolerable (Part 1) and provides significant survival benefit to subjects with relapsed/refractory (R/R) Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinomas (HNSCC) to warrant further clinical investigation (Part 2). Part 1 (dose escalation) will enroll subjects with advanced, selected solid tumors. Subjects will receive escalating doses of GSK3359609 and tremelimumab in combination in Part 1. Part 2 is randomized expansion and will enroll subjects with R/R HNSCC who have disease progression after receiving at least 1 platinum-based chemotherapy and at least 1 anti-programmed death receptor protein-1 (PD-1)/anti-programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) therapy, whether in combination or separately. In Part 2, subjects will be randomized in a ratio of 2:1 to receive either GSK3359609 in combination with tremelimumab at the recommended Phase 2 dose or investigators choice of a single-agent standard of care (SOC) therapy including paclitaxel, docetaxel or cetuximab. The total duration of subjects in the study will be approximately 4 years.
Children need routine immunizations which can be a painful procedure associated with pain and anxiety. This is particularly true of children visiting the children's hospital to visit relatives during flu season. No topical anesthetic or oral analgesia is commonly used. Virtual Reality (VR) is an immersive experience using sight, sound, and position sense. Using VR may enhance distraction during the painful procedure and may reduce attention to pain. This study will randomize children (6 - 16 years old) to receive Virtual Reality or standard of care while receiving immunizations. Investigators will measure pain, anxiety and satisfaction.
This study will look at the change in body weight from the start to the end of the study. Researchers will compare the weight loss in people taking semaglutide (a new medicine) to people taking "dummy" medicine. In addition to taking the medicine, participants will also have talks with study staff about healthy food choices, how the participant can be more physically active and what participants can do to lose weight. Participants will either get semaglutide or "dummy" medicine - which treatment the participant gets is decided by chance. Participants will need to take 1 injection once a week. The study medicine is injected with a thin needle in a skin fold in the stomach, thigh or upper arm. The study will last for about 2 years. The participants will have 19 clinic visits and 15 phone calls with the study doctor.

The TARGET-HBV study engages an observational research design to conduct a comprehensive review of outcomes for patients with CHB infection. The initial phase of the study that enrolled patients treated with tenofovir alafenamide (TAF) was successfully completed. The current protocol (Amendment 1) describes the second phase of the study that will engage research activities for patients being managed for CHB in usual clinical practice in the US and Canada. The study addresses important clinical questions regarding the management of CHB by collecting and analyzing data from patients at academic and community medical centers. TARGET-HBV creates a robust database of real-world data regarding the natural history, management, and health outcomes related to antiviral treatments used in clinical practice.
This study is designed to evaluate the safety and tolerability of V114 and Prevnar 13™ in healthy infants. This study will include both full-term infants (≥37 weeks gestational age) and premature infants (<37 weeks gestational age). Premature infants will be included in a Premature Infant Immunogenicity Substudy, which will assess immunogenicity and safety following administration of V114 or Prevnar 13™.
This is a two arm, double blind RCT comparing the use of a single dose ciprofloxacin prior to SWL to saline alone. The multicenter trial will be conducted with a pragmatic emphasis including both high volume and low volume sites internationally.

Virtual Reality (VR) is an immersive experience using sight, sound, and position sense. Using VR may enhance distraction during the painful procedure and may reduce attention to pain. VR may also reduce anxiety during sedation induction by reducing providing an alternative stimulus. This study will randomize children (6 - 16 years old) to receive Virtual Reality or standard of care while undergoing procedural sedation. Investigators will measure heart rate, blood pressure, satisfaction (child, parent, provider), amount of sedatives used and compare between the two groups.
Children who present to the emergency department often require painful procedures (intravenous catheterization, laceration repair, fracture reduction, etc.). Virtual reality (VR) has been presented as a way of managing pain and anxiety in children undergoing painful procedures but most studies are limited to children 6 or older. The present study seeks to determine the youngest age (2-6) of future subjects in research of VR and clinical care. Virtual Reality is an immersive experience using sight, sound, and position sense. Using VR may enhance distraction during the painful procedure and may reduce attention to pain. Investigators will instruct and observe children age 2-6 in using a VR device and document how easy the device is to use for the child. The children will have the opportunity to select an application and play with the device for 10 minutes before being asked about their experience with the device. Parents/Guardians will also be asked about their child's experience with the device.
This is a randomized, multicenter, double-blind, placebo-controlled, Phase 2/3 study of patients (aged 6 to 16 years) diagnosed with Congenital Myotonic Dystrophy (Congenital DM1).
