NCT ID: NCT05471843 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Mantle Cell Lymphoma

Study of BGB-11417 Monotherapy in Participants With Relapsed or Refractory Mantle Cell Lymphoma

Start date: September 5, 2022
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The study consists of two parts. Part 1 determines the safety and tolerability of BGB-11417 (sonrotoclax) monotherapy, the maximum tolerated dose, and the recommended Phase 2 dose of BGB-11417 monotherapy for relapsed or refractory mantle cell lymphoma. Part 2 evaluates efficacy of BGB-11417 monotherapy at the recommended Phase 2 dose with recommended ramp-up schedule from Part 1.

NCT ID: NCT05471791 Active, not recruiting - Concussion, Brain Clinical Trials

Development of a Concussion Management Platform for Children and Youth

Back2PlayApp
Start date: October 6, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This multi-centred, randomized controlled trial will evaluate the effectiveness of a pilot tested mobile device Application built to guide youth in recovery from concussion. The Back2Play App was developed based on the published and researched CanChild Return to Activity (RTA) and Return to School (RTS) guidelines, which outline graduated steps in returning to play and school for youth after a concussion. It is hypothesized that participants who use the App will have better outcomes from concussion, primarily less reinjury during the vulnerable period throughout their recover up to 3- 6 months after concussion. They may also experience reduced frequency and severity of symptoms and recover more quickly from their concussion.

NCT ID: NCT05470985 Recruiting - Crohn Disease Clinical Trials

A Study to Evaluate the Efficacy, Safety, and Drug Levels of Oral Ozanimod in Pediatric Participants With Moderately to Severely Active Crohn's Disease With an Inadequate Response to Conventional Therapy

Start date: August 22, 2023
Phase: Phase 2/Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy, safety, drug levels, and drug effects of ozanimod in pediatric participants with moderately to severely active Crohn's Disease.

NCT ID: NCT05470010 Recruiting - Cancer Clinical Trials

Smartphone App-Based Mindfulness Intervention for French and English Speaker Cancer Survivors

SEAMLESS
Start date: June 30, 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

There is a need to develop, evaluate, and disseminate self-directed, easily accessible, safe, affordable, and effective psychosocial interventions to people living with cancer (PLWC) post-treatment. Smartphone app-based health interventions are an innovative way to deliver psychosocial cancer-care. The Mindfulness-Based Cancer Survivorship (MBCS) Journey app is a mobile app format of the Mindfulness-based Cancer Recovery program. In the SEAMLESS Study, the investigators aim to evaluate the MBCS Journey app (a 4 week mind-body intervention) in cancer survivors post-treatment. This is a randomized wait-list controlled trial. Participants will either be assigned into the immediate group (will receive intervention immediately after enrollment) or the waitlist group (wait for 3 months before receiving the intervention).

NCT ID: NCT05469997 Active, not recruiting - Parkinson Disease Clinical Trials

Ketogenic Diet Interventions in Parkinson's Disease: Safeguarding the Gut Microbiome

KIM
Start date: March 1, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Parkinson's Disease (PD) is the second most common neurodegenerative disorder with common gut-related symptoms, which are attributed to alterations in the gut microbiome - the collection of microorganisms that live within the gut. Classical ketogenic diets (KD) have shown to be beneficial in PD and non-PD populations but are associated with alterations in the gut microbiome that are characteristic of a perturbed system. This study aims to investigate the safety of modified Mediterranean-ketogenic interventions that are thought to be safer alternatives to the classical KD, as it relates to the gut microbiome health in patients with PD. We hypothesize that the modified Mediterranean-ketogenic interventions will not be associated with any significant perturbation of the gut microbiome in PD patients.

NCT ID: NCT05469867 Active, not recruiting - Glaucoma Eye Clinical Trials

Pivotal Trial for a Synthetic Tissue Substitute for Concealment of Artificial Ocular Implants

EverPatch
Start date: August 16, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This clinical trial will assess the clinical safety and performance of the CorNeat EverPatch device used as a tissue substitute for concealment of artificial ocular implants.

NCT ID: NCT05469776 Active, not recruiting - Knee Osteoarthritis Clinical Trials

Bicruciate-retaining (2C) Total Knee Arthroplasty (TKA) Versus Posterior-stabilized (PS) Total Knee Arthroplasty (TKA)

Start date: November 1, 2011
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Total knee arthroplasty (TKA) with the sacrifice of the anterior cruciate ligament is the standard treatment for severe knee osteoarthritis. A number of studies on the kinematics of the prosthetic knee tend to show that implants that preserve the cruciate ligaments best reproduce the kinematics of the healthy knee. The goal is to compare the clinical and radiological results in patients undergoing total knee replacement surgery according to the type of prosthesis used. It is anticipated that the bicruciate-retaining prosthesis will result in better function of the operated knee than the posterior-stabilized prosthesis. Method: - Randomized controlled trial - Monocentric - Randomization will be done using sealed envelopes

NCT ID: NCT05469737 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Myelodysplastic Syndromes

A Study to Compare the Efficacy and Safety of Oral Azacitidine Plus Best Supportive Care (BSC) Versus Placebo Plus BSC in Participants With International Prognostic Scoring System Revised (IPSS-R) Low- or Intermediate-risk Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS)
