There are about 28871 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Canada. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
A prospective cohort study design will be implemented across four sectors and multiple organizations sites to evaluate implementation and impact of the apps. Pre/post impact data will be collected over a six-month implementation period to assess whether the apps lead to increased Public Safety Personnel outreach to peer support (primary outcome), and to increased mental health literacy, and decreased mental distress (secondary outcomes). Recruitment will take place at three levels; 1) organizations (including knowledge users/organization champions), 2) peer support providers, and 3) public safety personnel employed within each participating organization. Sources of implementation and impact data for the six-month trial will include: 1) app utilization data, 2) knowledge user/organization champion interviews, 3) surveys with public safety personnel, 4) focus groups with peer support providers, and 5) implementation costs. Analysis will focus on both implementation and effectiveness to address the research questions related to the impact of the apps, as well as how the process and context of implementation shapes effectiveness.
This trial will compare two management strategies for HF patients with Atrial Fibrillation. The active control group will undergo BiV pacing, followed by an AV node ablation. The experimental group will undergo LBBAP, followed by an AV node ablation.

This study is designed to test whether QBKPN SSI can improve immune function in older adults, including how well it can protect against respiratory and other infections, whether it improves the body's response to COVID-19 vaccines and what effect it has on maintaining or improving quality of life, activity level and health status. QBKPN is a new medication in a class known as Site-Specific Immunomodulators (SSI). SSIs are designed to train and/or improve innate immune function to reduce the risk of infections, improve immune response to cancer, and slow the progression of chronic inflammatory diseases. It is believed that QBKPN SSI can work with the immune system to help protect against respiratory and other infections.
STEP-COVID (Supporting the Transition to and Engagement in Parenthood during the COVID-19 pandemic) is a manualized group intervention for pregnant women during the COVID-19 pandemic designed to foster emotion regulation and reflective capacities in participants.
This is a Phase IIIb, multinational, multicenter, randomized, open-label study to evaluate patient preference of the fixed-dose combination of pertuzumab and trastuzumab for subcutaneous use (PH FDC SC) administration in the home setting compared with the hospital setting during the cross-over period of adjuvant treatment in participants with early or locally advanced/inflammatory human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-positive (HER2+) breast cancer.
We propose a cross-sectional study to explore the acceptability and feasibility of HPV self-sampling among Quebec women. The study will invite eligible women to self-sample for HPV at home. The HPV risk factors of patients included in the study will be taken into consideration (vaccination, smoking, number of partners, date of last screening, etc.).
This is an open-label extension of the parent studies AROAPOC3-2001 and AROAPOC3-2002. Adult participants with dyslipidemia who completed the blinded 12-month period from either parent study and continue to meet eligibility criteria have the option to be enrolled into this study. Eligible enrolled participants will initially receive open-label ARO-APOC3 at the assigned dose level until a final dose is selected, at which point all participants will be transitioned to the selected dosing regimen.
