There are about 2700 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Bulgaria. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This study will test whether darapladib can safely lower the chances of having a cardiovascular event (such as a heart attack or urgent coronary revascularization (e.g. medical procedures performed to restore the normal blood flow in patients with atherosclerosis)) when treatment is started within 30 days after an acute coronary syndrome (also called ACS).
This international, prospective, non-interventional, non-controlled observational study obtains data on efficacy, safety and tolerability of Avelox treatment under daily-life treatment conditions. Specifically investigated are the improvement of clinical symptoms and the duration until infection improvement and cure.Any patient with a diagnosis of complicated skin and skin structure infection (cSSSI) treated with Avelox can be documented. The observation period for each subject covers the treatment period with Avelox. For each patient, the physician documents data at an initial visit and one or two follow-up visit(s) in line with routine practice.
The purpose of this study is to assess the effectiveness and safety of rabeprazole sodium, an inhibitor of gastric acid secretion of the protein pump inhibitor (PPI) class, compared with placebo in the treatment of gastrointestinal esophageal reflux disease (GERD) in infants 1 to 11 months of age.
This is a clinical study to investigate the pharmacokinetics, efficacy, safety and immunogenicity of human-cl rhFVIII, a newly developed human cell-line derived recombinant FVIII concentrate in previously treated patients with severe Hemophilia A.
RATIONALE: Paclitaxel is one of the most widely used human anticancer agents. Paclitaxel has a low degree of solubility and Cremophor EL is typically used as the solubiliser. Cremophor EL is known to cause hypersensitivity reactions that can be life-threatening. As Paclical® does not contain Cremophor EL, hypersensitivity reactions can be expected to be less. PURPOSE: To study the efficay and safety of two different formulations of paclitaxel, Paclical® and Taxol®.
The purpose of this study is to make laquinimod 0.6 mg available for all subjects who completed the placebo-controlled MS-LAQ-301 study according to the protocol and to evaluate the long-term safety, tolerability and effect on disease course of daily oral laquinimod 0.6 mg in subjects with relapsing multiple sclerosis.
The purpose of this study is to provide accurate, reliable information on schizophrenia clinical management in order to detect unmet medical needs of this disease in terms of: - Patient characteristics. - Diagnostic and treatment approaches: initial and subsequent.
Trial of sorafenib versus placebo in the treatment of locally advanced or metastatic differentiated thyroid cancer refractory to radioiodine
The purpose of this clinical trial is to test an experimental drug therapy called Tramadol Hydrochloride (HCl) Orally Disintegrating Tablets (ODT) ("Tramadol HCl ODT" or the "study drug"). The patient and the patient's partner are being asked to be in this clinical trial because they have a condition called Premature Ejaculation.
In this randomized, double-blind, multi-centre, placebo controlled, exploratory, adaptive design study, the antidepressant and plasma cytokine lowering effects of the GW856553 will be investigated in adult subjects diagnosed with MDD. Subjects will receive oral doses of GW856553 or placebo for six weeks. Safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, defined as biomarkers in blood and clinical symptoms, will be assessed. The primary endpoint is the change from baseline associated with GW856553 versus placebo at Week 6 in the Bech (6-item HAMD-17) score. Interim analyses of the primary endpoint will be performed throughout the study to potentially adapt the study design by changing the randomization ratio and/ or reducing the total number of subjects to be randomized into the study. Exploratory analyses will be performed by associating changes in cytokine levels and selected clinical symptoms; PK/PD modelling will also be used to identify the most sensitive clinical and biological markers.
