NCT ID: NCT01241591 Completed - Psoriasis Clinical Trials

A Phase 3, Multi Site, Randomized, Double Blind, Placebo Controlled Study Of The Efficacy And Safety Comparing CP- 690,550 And Etanercept In Subjects With Moderate To Severe Chronic Plaque Psoriasis

Start date: November 2010
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

To evaluate the efficacy of CP-690,550 as compared to etanercept and the safety of CP-690,550 for treatment of moderate to severe chronic plaque psoriasis.

NCT ID: NCT01241500 Completed - Clinical trials for Myelodysplastic Syndromes

Randomized Study of ON 01910.Na in Refractory Myelodysplastic Syndrome Patients With Excess Blasts

ONTIME
Start date: November 2010
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The primary objective of this study is to compare overall survival (OS) in patients receiving ON 01910.Na + best supportive care (BSC) to OS of patients receiving BSC in a population of patients with myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) with excess blasts (5% to 30% bone marrow blasts) who have failed azacitidine or decitabine treatment. This patient population has no available therapy and a short life expectancy (approximately 4 months). The high level of bone marrow activity of ON 01910.Na documented in Phase 1 and 2 studies has the potential to delay substantially the transition of MDS to Acute Myeloid Leukemia(AML), a very significant and severe complication, which shortens survival of these MDS patients.

NCT ID: NCT01241058 Completed - Clinical trials for Description of Disease Course, Disease Fenotype, Medication, Safety, Analysis for Possible Associations

Registry of Pediatric Patients Diagnosed With Crohn's Disease in Belgium

Belcro
Start date: May 2008

NCT ID: NCT01240915 Completed - Colitis, Ulcerative Clinical Trials

A Study To Investigate The Safety And Possible Clinical Benefit Of Multistem(r) In Patients With Moderate To Severe Ulcerative Colitis

Start date: February 2011
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

MultiStem(r) is a new biological product, manufactured from human stem cells obtained from adult bone marrow or other nonembryonic tissue sources. Factors expressed by MultiStem cells are believed to reduce inflammation and regulate immune system function, protect damaged or injured cells and tissue, promote formation of new blood vessels, and augment tissue repair and healing. MultiStem cell treatment resulted in significant efficacy in a mouse model of Graft versus Host Disease with almost complete reversal of gastrointestinal pathology (similar to pathology that would be expected in Ulcerative Colitis). These data, together with safety data generated in 2 other clinical trials, suggest that MultiStem has the potential to be a new treatment option for patients with ulcerative colitis. This is the first study of MultiStem in this patient population and will cautiously explore the safety/toleration and potential benefit of this new treatment in patients with moderate to severe disease.

NCT ID: NCT01240057 Completed - Clinical trials for Diaphragmatic Hernia

Tracheal Occlusion To Accelerate Lung Growth (TOTAL) Trial for Severe Pulmonary Hypoplasia

TOTAL
Start date: November 2011
Phase: Phase 2/Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This trial investigates whether prenatal intervention improves survival rate of fetuses with isolated congenital diaphragmatic hernia and severe pulmonary hypoplasia, as compared to expectant management during pregnancy, both followed by standardized postnatal care.

NCT ID: NCT01239797 Completed - Multiple Myeloma Clinical Trials

Phase III Study of Lenalidomide and Dexamethasone With or Without Elotuzumab to Treat Relapsed or Refractory Multiple Myeloma

ELOQUENT - 2
Start date: June 20, 2011
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of the study is to determine whether the addition of Elotuzumab to Lenalidomide/low-dose Dexamethasone will increase the progression free survival (PFS).

NCT ID: NCT01239589 Completed - Clinical trials for Acute Bipolar Manic Episode

European Study to Describe Hospital Stay in Patients Admitted for Acute Bipolar Manic Episodes

Start date: November 2010
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

This study is being carried out to find out how patients suffering from the acute manic phase of bipolar disease are currently managed with Quetiapine Immediate Release (IR) or Quetiapine Extended Release (XR) in the hospital setting in real life practice, including length of stay.
