A Study of Atezolizumab Plus Carboplatin and Etoposide With or Without Tiragolumab in Patients With Untreated Extensive-Stage Small Cell Lung Cancer

SKYSCRAPER-02
Start date: February 4, 2020
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This study will evaluate the efficacy of tiragolumab plus atezolizumab and carboplatin and etoposide (CE) compared with placebo plus atezolizumab and CE in participants with chemotherapy-naive extensive-stage small cell lung cancer (ES-SCLC). Eligible participants will be stratified by Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) Performance Status (0 vs. 1), LDH (</= upper limit of normal [ULN] vs. > ULN), and presence or history of brain metastasis (yes vs. no) and randomly assigned in a 1:1 ratio to receive one of the following treatment regimens during induction phase: - Arm A: Tiragolumab plus atezolizumab plus CE - Arm B: Placebo plus atezolizumab plus CE Following the induction phase, participants will continue maintenance therapy with either atezolizumab plus tiragolumab (Arm A) or atezolizumab plus placebo (Arm B).

NCT ID: NCT04255433 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

A Study of Tirzepatide (LY3298176) Compared With Dulaglutide on Major Cardiovascular Events in Participants With Type 2 Diabetes

SURPASS-CVOT
Start date: May 29, 2020
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of the trial is to assess the efficacy and safety of tirzepatide to dulaglutide in participants with type 2 diabetes and increased cardiovascular risk.

NCT ID: NCT04253184 Active, not recruiting - Bradycardia Clinical Trials

Micra AV Transcatheter Pacing System Post-Approval Registry

Micra AV PAS
Start date: February 8, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

Medtronic is sponsoring the Micra AV Registry using the Micra AV system for continued surveillance of chronic atrioventricular synchronous pacing as intended, through the collection of data based on routine clinical care practice, following commercial release. The Micra AV Registry is conducted within Medtronic's Product Surveillance Registry (PSR) platform.

NCT ID: NCT04253171 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Coronary Artery Disease

Balloon Lithoplasty for Preparation of Severely Calcified Coronary Lesions

BALI
Start date: January 29, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Severely calcified coronary stenoses are difficult to treat with percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) using current techniques and there is little specific evidence on how to best treat these cases. It is hypothesized that balloon lithoplasty is superior to conventional balloons for lesion preparation of severely calcified coronary lesions before stent implantation in terms of procedural failure and 1-year target vessel failure.

NCT ID: NCT04250038 Active, not recruiting - Pharmacokinetics Clinical Trials

Association of Cefepime Trough Levels With Clinical Efficacy and Neurotoxicity in Patients With Febrile Neutropenia

Start date: August 1, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational

In this prospective monocenter observational study, the objective was to determine a safe and effective therapeutic window for cefepime in patients with neutropenic fever.

NCT ID: NCT04249973 Active, not recruiting - Food Allergy Clinical Trials

Detection of Metabolite Biomarkers for the Early Diagnosis and Prognosis of Cow's Milk Allergy in Children

Start date: January 26, 2018
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

In this study, fecal and urine samples will be collected from children diagnosed with : - IgE mediated cow's milk allergy, - suspected of a cow's milk allergy, but with negative diagnosis - IgE mediated food allergy other than cow's milk - healthy brothers and sisters of the first three groups A subset of patients with IgE-mediated cow's milk allergy will be asked to provide a urine and fecal sample yearly for prognostic purposes. The samples will be analyzed using a technique called metabolomics to identify biomarker candidates with diagnostic and/or prognostic potential. Additionally, microbiome analysis will be performed to map the microbiome of all groups.

NCT ID: NCT04246931 Active, not recruiting - COPD Clinical Trials

Adherence Evaluation in COPD

Start date: January 1, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The rationale of this study is to have a better understanding of the perception of the pulmonologists, general practitioners and patients of adherence (causes, main consequences, supportive tools,..) and the use of TAI-questionnaire (appreciation, usability,…) by interviewing pulmonologists & general practitioners and a survey with patients. Based on the outcome, projects and tools can be developed to help health care professionals to motivate patients to improve adherence and to help patients to increase their adherence to inhalation therapy.

NCT ID: NCT04246047 Active, not recruiting - Multiple Myeloma Clinical Trials
