Study Of Nivolumab Alone, Or In Combination With Vinblastin In Patients With Classical Hodgkin Lymphoma

This study is a multicentric phase II open-label trial consisting of 6 cycles Nivolumab (2 weeks interval) followed by a PET-CT scan. The treatment will be allocated according to PET and CT scan responses. : - In case of CMR according to Lugano Classification (Cheson et al.2014, PET-CT based response), patients will receive 18 additional cycles of Nivolumab, according to CT-based response at Cycle 12. - In case of Partial Metabolic Response (PMR) or No Metabolic Response(NMR), according to Lugano Classification (Cheson et al.2014, PET-CT based response) patients will receive 12 to 18 cycles of Nivolumab combined with Vinblastin according to CT-based response at Cycle 12. - In case of progressive disease, according to Lugano Classification (Cheson et al.2014, PET-CT scan based response) patients will be considered in treatment failure.

A Phase III Study of and Efficacy of Ligelizumab in the Treatment of CSU in Adolescents and Adults Inadequately Controlled With H1-antihistamines.

The purpose of this study was to establish efficacy and safety of ligelizumab in adolescent and adult subjects with CSU who remained symptomatic despite standard of care treatment by demonstrating better efficacy over omalizumab and over placebo. The study population consisted of 1,079 male and female subjects aged ≥ 12 years who were diagnosed with CSU and who remained symptomatic despite the use of H1-antihistamines. This was a multi-center, randomized, double-blind, active- and placebo-controlled, parallel-group study. There was a screening period of up to 28 days, a 52 week double-blind treatment period, and a 12 week post-treatment follow-up period.

Precision Event Monitoring for Patients With Heart Failure Using HeartLogic

The goal of the PREEMPT-HF study is to collect device and clinical event data to evaluate extended applications of the HeartLogic Heart Failure Diagnostic (HeartLogic) in a broad spectrum of heart failure patients with an implantable cardioverter defibrillator or cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillator. There are no primary safety and/or efficacy endpoints for this study. Heart failure is a complex clinical syndrome with high morbidity, mortality, and economic burden. Chronic Heart Failure is persistent, gradually progressive, and punctuated by episodes of acute worsening leading to hospitalizations. Therefore, there remains an unmet clinical need to slow the progression of Heart Failure and prevent hospitalizations. HeartLogic, available in Boston Scientific cardiac resynchronization therapy devices and defibrillators, combines novel sensor parameters such as heart sounds and respiration with other measurements like thoracic impedance, heart rate, and activity into a HeartLogic Index for the early detection of worsening Heart Failure. However, there is limited data on the association of HeartLogic with the risk of Hear Failure readmissions and tachyarrhythmias, or for phenotyping the broad spectrum of Heart Failure patients.

The Influence of Fatigue on Trunk Motor Control and Brain Activity

This study aims at examining the influence of both physically and cognitively induced fatigue on trunk motor control on the one hand and brain activity related to movement preparation on the other hand, in healthy adult subjects. Furthermore, a comparison between the effects of both types of fatigue will be made. For this purpose a motor control task will be performed and compared before and after 3 specific interventions: i.e. a control intervention, a physical task and a cognitive task. Muscle and brain activity will be measured during each motor control task. It is hypothesised that motor control will not be altered after a control task, i.e. seated rest for 45 minutes. With regards to the physical fatigue condition, it is expected that trunk muscles will contract earlier after this task than before due to altered motor control. Cognitive fatigue is hypothesised to have similar underlying processes as physical fatigue, thus a similar earlier muscle contraction is also expected after cognitive fatigue. Lastly, as both types of fatigue are expected to induce a similar effect on motor control no significant differences between cognitive and physical fatigue are hypothesised. However, it is possible that the magnitude of this effect differs between types of fatigue, i.e. that 1 of both types has a bigger effect on motor control than the other. With regards to brain activity in preparation of a motor control task similar hypotheses are formulated: no effect of the control task on brain activity, earlier and possibly increased brain activity after both fatiguing tasks, and no differences between both types of fatigue besides a possible difference in magnitude of effect.

A Study to Compare the Efficacy and Safety of JCAR017 to Standard of Care in Adult Subjects With High-risk, Transplant-eligible Relapsed or Refractory Aggressive B-cell Non-Hodgkin Lymphomas

The study will be conducted in compliance with the International Council for Harmonisation (ICH) of Technical Requirements for Registration of Pharmaceuticals for Human Use/Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and applicable regulatory requirements. This is a randomized, open-label, parallel-group, multi-center trial in adult subjects with Relapsed or refractory (R/R) aggressive Non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) to compare safety and efficacy between the standard of care (SOC) strategy versus JCAR017 (also known as lisocabtagene maraleucel or liso-cel). Subjects will be randomized to either receive SOC (Arm A) or to receive JCAR017 (Arm B). All subjects randomized to Arm A will receive Standard of care (SOC) salvage therapy (R-DHAP, RICE or R-GDP) as per physician's choice before proceeding to High dose chemotherapy (HDCT) and Hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HSCT). Subjects from Arm A may be allowed to cross over and receive JCAR017 upon confirmation of an EFS event. Subjects randomized to Arm B will receive Lymphodepleting (LD) chemotherapy followed by JCAR017 infusion.
