There are about 10460 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Australia. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This is a Phase 2 open label pilot study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of subcutaneously administered ELX-02 in patients with X-linked or autosomal recessive Alport Syndrome with Col4A5 and Col4A3/4 nonsense mutation. In total, up to 8 participants, with a minimum of 3 adults, will be enrolled in the trial. The study will be comprised of the following periods for each participant: - a Screening period of up to 6 weeks (42 days) - a total Treatment Period of 8 weeks (60 days) - a safety/efficacy Follow-up Period of 12 weeks (90 days) after the last treatment The Treatment Period will be a treatment of ELX-02 0.75 mg/kg SC QD for 8 weeks.
This multicentre, adaptive, pragmatic, double-blind, three-arm, placebo-controlled, randomised, non-inferiority clinical trial will compare the incidence of surgical site infection and other healthcare associated infections, health economic and microbiological impact after intraoperative only (Arm A), to 24 hours (Arm B) and, to 48 hours (Arm C) of IV cefazolin and placebo postoperative surgical antimicrobial prophylaxis in patients undergoing cardiac surgery
GLORIOSA is a Phase 3 multicenter, open label study designed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of mirvetuximab Soravtansine as maintenance therapy in participants with platinum-sensitive ovarian, primary peritoneal or fallopian tube cancers with high folate receptor-alpha (FRα) expression.
Myelofibrosis (MF) is a rare blood cancer, characterized by extensive fibrosis (scarring) of the bone marrow. It is one of a group of cancers known as myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs) in which bone marrow cells that produce blood cells develop and function abnormally. This study will evaluate treatment patterns, treatment outcomes, healthcare resource utilization in adult participants with Myelofibrosis. Data from approximately 1000 participants will be collected. No participants will be enrolled in this study. Participants' charts will be reviewed. No drug will be administered as a part of this study. The duration of the observation period is up to 156 weeks. There is no additional burden for participants in this trial. All visits must be completed prior to data extraction and participants will be followed for up to 156 weeks.
The purpose of the study is to assess whether the REGENETEN™ Bioinductive Implant allows patients to get back to their everyday activities quicker than if the tendon is repaired by the standard repair technique 'Completion and Repair' for surgically treating partial-thickness rotator cuff tears.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the long-term safety, tolerability, and efficacy of VX-121/tezacaftor/deutivacaftor (VX-121/TEZ/D-IVA) in participants with cystic fibrosis.
The investigators propose a multicenter prospective study in patients undergoing either an elective bariatric procedure or an elective benign procedure, including laparoscopic/open cholecystectomy, laparoscopic/open hiatus hernia repair, laparoscopic/open inguinal hernia repair, laparoscopic/open umbilical hernia repair or laparoscopic ventral wall hernia repair. Perioperative blood ketone and venous blood gas levels will be measured pre-surgery, post-surgery and on post-operative days until discharge. Our primary research objective is to clarify the expected perioperative ketone and blood gas levels in elective bariatric patients who have been on a VLCD and fasting for surgery, compared to elective surgical patients who have only been fasting prior to surgery.
The purpose of this study is to assess the long-term safety and tolerability of reldesemtiv in patients with ALS who have successfully completed dosing in the Phase 3 clinical trial, CY 5031 (also known as COURAGE-ALS)
The study is an extension of two parent studies (MLN0002-3024 [NCT04779307] and MLN0002-3025 [NCT04779320]). Participants must have participated in one of the previous studies. The purpose of this study is to collect the long-term safety of vedolizumab in children with UC or CD.
