Tolerability of Enecadin (INN) in Acute Ischemic Stroke Trial - TEST

Start date: May 2006
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The main objective of this study is to investigate the tolerability of enecadin in patients with acute ischemic stroke. Furthermore, the pharmacokinetics of enecadin in both male and female patients with acute ischemic stroke will be assessed. Efficacy trends will be evaluated up to day 30 post stroke.

NCT ID: NCT00327470 Terminated - Clinical trials for Macular Degeneration

An Open Label Trial to Investigate Macugen for the Preservation of Visual Function in Subjects With Neovascular AMD

PERSPECTIVES
Start date: July 2006
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to determine the benefits of treating subjects with neovascular age-related macular degeneration (AMD) at an earlier stage of choroidal neovascularization (CNV) as compared to those with established CNV. Additionally, the study would like to determine the efficacy of Macugen in preserving visual function in those subjects having CNV secondary to neovascular AMD.

NCT ID: NCT00322218 Terminated - Clinical trials for Lymphoma, Large Cell, Diffuse

Study Comparing Zevalin Regimen With no Further Treatment in Patients With Diffuse Large B-cell Lymphoma.

Start date: May 2006
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This study treats patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma whose disease is in complete remission due to previous treatment with Cyclophosphamide Doxorubicin hydrochloride Vincristine Prednisolone- Rituximab (CHOP-R). Half of the patients received Zevalin and the other half receive no further anti-cancer treatment. The two patient groups compared to determine if Zevalin given after CHOP-R therapy provides greater benefits than receiving no additional anti-cancer therapy after CHOP-R.

NCT ID: NCT00317265 Terminated - Clinical trials for Coronary Artery Disease

Coronary Bypass Surgery Trial: Complete Arterial Revascularization and Conventional Coronary Artery Surgery

Start date: January 1999
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This is a randomized, prospective European Multicenter Study comparing complete arterial revascularization of the coronary arteries using arterial graft material exclusively and “conventional” coronary artery bypass surgery using the left internal thoracic artery as graft to the left anterior descending artery (LAD) and vein grafts to other vessels to be bypassed.

NCT ID: NCT00311467 Terminated - Renal Cell Cancer Clinical Trials

Combined Treatment With Capecitabine and Immunotherapy Versus Immunotherapy Alone in Advanced Renal Cell Carcinoma

Start date: March 2004
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

Multi-center, prospective randomised phase III study evaluating capecitabine in combination with standard-immunotherapy versus standard-immunotherapy alone as first-line therapy in patients with metastatic renal cell carcinoma.

Randomized Study on Neoadjuvant Radio-Chemotherapy in Rectal Carcinoma Dukes B and C

Start date: July 1997
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This clinical investigation examined the influence of preoperative radiotherapy in combination with postoperative 5-fluorouracil + leucovorin chemotherapy vs. 5-fluorouracil + leucovorin + MAb 17-1A chemo-immunotherapy on patients’ local recurrence rate and overall survival time following surgery for rectal carcinoma Dukes B or C (T2-4, N0-3, M0).
