the goal of this cluster randomized controlled trial is to assess the effectiveness of smartphone application in reducing the symptoms of Anxiety and depression among adolescents. The main objectives of this trial are: 1. Primary Objective To develop a smart phone application for reduction in depressive and anxiety symptoms in Pakistani adolescents aged 12-18 years 2. Secondary Objectives - To determine the effectiveness of a smart phone application in reduction of anxiety symptoms in Pakistani adolescents aged 12-18 years via a randomized controlled trial - To determine the effectiveness of a smart phone application in reduction of depressive symptoms in Pakistani adolescents aged 12-18 years via a randomized controlled trial - To determine the effectiveness of a smart phone application in improvements of well-being of Pakistani adolescents aged 12-18 years via a randomized controlled trial the randomization will occur at the school level for the intervention group and control group. Students in the intervention group will receive the access to a smartphone application designed to improve the mental health of adolescents, they will be briefed on how to use the application and its advantages. while the students in the control group will receive self-reading pictorial educational leaflets related to mental health improvement. the researcher will conduct the assessment of depression, anxiety and mental wellbeing using PHQ-A, GAD-7 and WHO-5 at baseline, 1 month and at 3 months to compare if the smartphone application is effective in reducing the symptoms of depression and anxiety of adolescents and overall improvement in the mental wellbeing.
The objective of this research is to translate the Tele-Pulmonary Rehabilitation Acceptance Scale into Turkish and assess its reliability and accuracy.
This study aims to investigate the relationship between multifidus and gastrocnemius muscle thickness with postural stability in patients with stroke.
This study proposes to conduct a randomized clinical trial (RCT), composed of a sample of 194 deciduous central and lateral incisors with active cavitated lesions, simplified ICDAS C+ score, with involvement of more than two surfaces. This sample will be divided into two experimental groups, both with selective removal of carious tissue: a group in which conventional restoration will be performed using opaque resins; and another group with monochromatic resin with chameleon effect and polyvinyl crowns.
The study will employ a cross-sectional design to assess the level of knowledge and awareness of dry needling therapy in the Turkish population.
1. Compare the clinical efficacy of topical ginger extract versus triamcinolone acetonide 0.1% for symptomatic oral lichen planus (Primary Objective). 2. Investigate using immunohistochemical analysis the effect of the two different treatment modalities on FasL expression in oral lichen planus lesions (Secondary Objective).
The study will consist of 3 parts. First a reference study is performed with healthy volunteers to investigate the viability of 4DCT scanning of the wrist for evaluating wrist bones configurations and movements (translations and rotations) during a new set of wrist motions that have not been evaluated in our previous study focused on the scapholunate ligament (NL72518.091.19). The following will be evaluated: the visibility of the DRUJ, the carpal metacarpal 1 (CMC-1) joint and the metacarpal phalangeal 1 (MCP-1) joint during clinically relevant wrist movements. Besides, in this study the difference is evaluated between between the left right wrist within participants during wrist motion. In future clinical practice the uninjured wrist may be used as a reference for the injured wrist, determining the left right difference in healthy volunteers will show the robustness of this technique. Subsequently a reliability study is performed to investigate the intra-patient test-retest reliability of our 4DCT scanning protocol. Lastly a diagnostic clinical study is performed on patients with chronic wrist pain, suspect for DRUJ instability. The objective of the clinical study is to determine the sensitivity and specificity of the 4DCT scan (during a series of movements in which DRUJ instability is predicted to be best visible) in the diagnosis of DRUJ instability in comparison with arthroscopic findings (gold standard). If the 4DCT shows to have a sensitivity and specificity comparable to that of wrist arthroscop
This study is a prospective, open-label, single-arm phase II clinical study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of zanubrutinib plus R-CHOP (ZR-CHOP) as the first-line therapy for newly diagnosed diffuse large B-cell lymphoma patients with high-risk factors.
This study is aimed to identify the prevalence, risk factors and outcomes of children with either venous or arterial thromboembolism admitted to children hospital Assiut University aiming at early detection and avoidance of catastrophic complications .
The aim of the study is to evaluate the ability of Doppler ultrasonography of the portal vein and liver stiffness measurement using Transient Elestoghraphy in predicting prescence of gastroesophageal variceal and variceal bleeding in patients with liver cirrhosis
