Pharmacogenetic Testing at Community Pharmacy

OffiGene
Start date: April 5, 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to assess the clinical impact of reducing treatment failure rates after using genetic information targeting CYP2C19 in validating escitalopram prescription. 5 pharmacies in the canton of Vaud (Lausanne, Switzerland) will participate in the study. The study will also explored the ability to perform the test in community pharmacy, physician and pharmacist approval of prescription changes, patient acceptance of the test and dose changes, the economic impact of the test, the association between genetic polymorphisms and therapeutic failures and the degree of satisfaction, barriers and facilitators by stakeholders.

Detection of the Effect of Irrigation Fluid on Extravascular Lung Water in Patients Undergoing TRUP Using Bedside Lung Ultrasound

Start date: April 5, 2024
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Early detection of fluid accumulation in alveolar, interstitial, and intracellular compartments of the lung due to intravascular absorption of irrigation fluid of TURP guided by lung ultrasound by detection of sonographic B lines.

NCT ID: NCT06221072 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Imaging Examination Shows at Least One Site With Bone Metastases From Soild Tumors

A Study to Assess the Prevention of Bone-related Events in Patients With Bone Metastases From Malignant Solid Tumors Treated With JMT103 Compared to Zoledronic Acid

Start date: April 5, 2024
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is a phase Ⅲ, multicenter, randomized, double-blind, study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of JMT103 in patients with bone metastases from malignant solid tumors. The purpose of this study is to determine if JMT103 is non-inferior to zoledronic acid.

NCT ID: NCT06279195 Not yet recruiting - Pelvic Pain Clinical Trials

Phenotyping of Idiopathic Pelvic Pain With Real-time Uterine Imaging and Relugolix-Combination Therapy Treatment

Start date: April 5, 2024
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The mechanisms underlying variable efficacy of Relugolix-Combination Therapy (REL-CT) in mitigating unexplained pelvic pain will be evaluated with uterine imaging techniques and quantitative sensory testing.

The aim of the study is to compare body balance parameters assessed using the AMTI dynamometric platform in children with idiopathic scoliosis (with and without Schroth therapy) compared to control group.

NCT ID: NCT06313190 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Combination of SBRT and Immunotherapy in Small Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HSBRT2402)

HSBRT2402
Start date: April 5, 2024
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

For inoperable small hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) is an effective and safe local treatment. Despite satisfactory local control rate, the incidence of recurrence out the field remains substantial, with 2-year PFS of 31.9% to 60.9%. Therefore, a more effective treatment mode is urgently needed. Immune checkpoint inhibitors targeting PD-1/PD-L1 have shown substantial clinical benefits in advanced HCC as well as resected high-risk HCC. Recently, the combination of immunotherapy with SBRT has shown promising activity in HCC, but its utility in small HCC is unclear. The aim of this study was to investigate the efficacy and safety of SBRT followed by sintilimab (an anti-PD-1 antibody) in patients with recurrent or residual small HCC.

NCT ID: NCT06320912 Not yet recruiting - Portal Hypertension Clinical Trials

Efficacy and Safety of Intraparenchymal Portal Vein Covered Stents in Treating Portal Hypertension and Its Complications
