NCT ID: NCT05727553 Recruiting - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Implementation of Online Adaptive Radiotherapy for Breast Cancer Patients on Ethos (BREAST-ART)

BREAST-ART
Start date: December 10, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Postoperative radiotherapy is for the majority of breast cancer patients the standard of care. During postoperative radiotherapy, unexpected dosimetric deviations can occur due to breast contour changes resulting from resorption of postoperative breast or chest wall seroma/hematoma, oedema either postoperatively or during irradiation, or arm/body positioning variation. In approximately 10% of cases, repositioning after setup imaging is not sufficient, and offline plan adaptation is required. When a new treatment planning is required in the standard offline workflow this will take in general 2 days. By using an online adaptive workflow with a daily treatment planning this delay and extra work caused by offline plan adaptation can be omitted. The aim of this study is to translate the offline adaptive workflow to an online adaptive workflow, and investigate the experiences of patients who have been treated with online adaptive radiotherapy for breast cancer (BREAST-ART).

NCT ID: NCT05726604 Recruiting - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

4D CT Scan Versus 3D CT Scan Concerning Cardiac Dosimetry Assesment for Left Sided Breast Cancers Radiotherapy

RD3D4
Start date: March 2, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

To establish if the cardiac radiation dose assesment is well aproximated with routine 3D CT scan compared to 4D CT experimental scan with respiratory gating (breath motion monitoring). The study population relates to left side breast cancers female patients that require a radiation therapy treatment.

NCT ID: NCT05725265 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Breast Cancer Lymphedema

LLLT for BCRL: a Randomized, Placebo-controlled Study

Start date: October 24, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study is conducted to compare between efficacy of large and small area of low-level laser therapy (LLLT) in treatment of post mastectomy lymphedema. The change of severity of BCRL will be measured by the difference of circumference and skin thickness, detected by ultrasound. The influence on clinical symptoms, such as pain, shoulder mobility and hand function, are also investigated in the study.

NCT ID: NCT05721976 Recruiting - Obesity Clinical Trials

With Love, Grandma ("Con Cariño, Abuelita") Pilot Study

Start date: February 22, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to assess the feasibility, acceptability, and preliminary effects of a digital (web and mobile-phone-based) program to improve lifestyle behaviors (physical activity, dietary intake) among Hispanic female cancer survivors and adult daughters.

NCT ID: NCT05721248 Recruiting - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

STOP-HER2: Stopping Trastuzumab in HER2+ MBC

Start date: April 19, 2023
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This study is being done to see if anti-HER2 treatment be safely stopped in patients with HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer (MBC) that have had exceptional response to treatment. Exceptional response" is considered as cancer progression being controlled for three years or more since starting anti-HER2 treatment.

NCT ID: NCT05720858 Recruiting - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Telerehabilitation in Survival Breast Cancer Patients

Start date: October 20, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this study is to determine the effect of telerehabilitation-based aerobic exercises on upper extremity functionality, cognitive status and quality of life in patients with survival breast cancer.

NCT ID: NCT05720260 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Metastatic Breast Cancer

Immunotherapy, Hormone Therapy, and AKT Inhibitor for Premenopausal ER Positive MBC

Start date: January 17, 2023
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is an open-label randomized phase II study in estrogen receptor positive locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer patients. The main inclusion population are either luminal subtype B by PAM50 analysis or failed less than 2 lines of hormonal therapy for locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer. The subjects have to be premenopausal or perimenopausal and are not allowed to receive any systemic chemotherapy for their locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer. Eligible subjects will be randomized into goserelin/ fulvestrant/ durvalumab (Arm A), goserelin/ fulvestrant/ capivasertib/ durvalumab (Arm B), or goserelin/ fulvestrant/ capivasertib (Arm C) at a 1:1:1 ratio. The primary endpoint is objective response rate (ORR) of the whole other three arm compared to historical goserelin/ fulvestrantcontrol arm. The major secondary endpoint will be progression-free survival or ORR compared among different treatment arms.

NCT ID: NCT05720039 Recruiting - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials
