c-TRAK TN is a multi-centre phase II study, consisting of a circulating tumour DNA (ctDNA) surveillance component and a therapeutic component. c-TRAK TN aims to assess whether ctDNA surveillance can be used to detect residual disease following patients standard primary treatment for triple negative breast cancer, and will assess the safety and activity of the investigational medicinal product pembrolizumab.
Phase II, Open Label, Randomized, Biomarker Study of Immune-mediated Mechanism of Action of Neoadjuvant Subcutaneous (SC) Trastuzumab in Patients with Operable or Locally Advanced /Inflammatory HER2-positive Breast Cancer (ImmunHER)
This trial studies how well a decision aid website works in helping to make decisions about fertility in participants with cancer. Decision aid websites that provide information about fertility preservation (maintaining your ability to have children of your own after cancer treatment) may help participants with cancer make fertility-preservation decisions.
The standard treatment of localized breast cancers consists of surgical removal of the tumor at the breast or removal of the entire breast and lymph nodes (sentinel lymph node and / or axillary dissection) with or without chemotherapy followed by radiotherapy on the breast or thoracic wall and the lymph node areas from 5 to 6.5 weeks. Shorter radiotherapy treatments over 3 weeks for breast cancer without lymph node involvement have been equally effective and have no more side effects in several clinical trials involving several thousand patients. This called hypofractionated radiotherapy has become a standard for breast cancers in the absence of lymph node involvement in postmenopausal women. The objective of the HypoG01 trial is to evaluate hypofractionated radiotherapy in women who require radiotherapy in the breast or chest wall and lymph node areas by comparing standard over 5 to 6.5 weeks and hypofractionated irradiation over 3 weeks analyzing the possible side effects and in particular the risk of lymphedema (swelling of the arm on the side treated) and the effectiveness of these treatments
This is a single arm, Phase IIA clinical trial assessing the safety and efficacy of atezolizumab in combination with paclitaxel, trastuzumab, and pertuzumab in 50 patients with locally advanced, unresectable, or metastatic HER2-overexpressing breast cancer. Due to concerns that corticosteroids may have a negative effect on tumor immunity expected with addition of atezolizumab to the standard of care regimen, patients will receive premedication with dexamethasone only for weeks 1 and 2 of the weekly paclitaxel, and then corticosteroid premedication will be discontinued subsequently. Patients must have pathologically confirmed HER2-overexpressing breast cancer that is locally recurrent, unresectable, or metastatic, with measurable disease as defined by RECIST v1.1. Tumor measurements and bone scans will be performed every 9 weeks while patients are on study.
Phase 1/2 study, open, monocenter, non-randomized
This study will evaluate the effect of highly accelerated external beam radiotherapy (EBRT) in 5 fractions over 10 days compared to 15 fractions over 3 weeks for early as well as locally-advanced stage breast cancer. Primary endpoint will be chronic toxicity (breast deformation and retraction). Secondary endpoints are acute toxicity, loco-regional and distant tumor control, patient reported QoL and cosmetic satisfaction. Patients with lymph node irradiation will be closely monitored for radiation induced plexopathy.
The purpose of this work: to assess the tolerability and effectiveness of the autogemotherapy method on the basis of autologous antigen-activated dendritic cells in the treatment of patients with breast cancer. This technology is intended for complex treatment of patients with breast cancer and is aimed at preventing the occurrence and treatment of secondary foci. The need for this technology is justified by the widespread occurrence of breast cancer among women, a decrease in the average age at onset of the disease and a young age, and the chemoresistantness of locally advanced forms of cancer.
