Filter by:This phase Ib trial studies the side effects and best dose of selinexor when given together with several different standard chemotherapy or immunotherapy regimens in treating patients with malignancies that have spread to other places in the body and usually cannot be cured or controlled with treatment (advanced). Selinexor may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking enzymes needed for cell growth. Drugs used in chemotherapy work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Studying selinexor with different standard chemotherapy or immunotherapy regimens may help doctors learn the side effects and best dose of selinexor that can be given with different types of treatments in one study.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of novel pan-HER inhibitor, NOV120101 (Poziotinib), in HER2-overexpressed recurrent stage IV breast cancer patients who received at least 2 prior HER2-directed regimens.
A phase I trial to determine the recommended phase two dose of the combination of carboplatin and olaparib.
In this study, effects of γδT cells on human breast cancer (her2-, er-,pr-) in combination with tumor reducing surgery, for example cryosurgery going to be investigated.
This pre-surgical, window-of-opportunity study is designed to investigate whether atorvastatin reduces the proliferation marker Ki-67 via modulation of the Hippo transducer TAZ.
This randomized clinical trial uses an inactive typhoid vaccine to briefly stimulate an immune response in patients with stage I-IIIA breast cancer who received primary cancer treatment and studies whether patients' fitness levels affect how their bodies handle a challenge to their immune system. A vaccine is a substance or group of substances meant to cause the immune system to respond to a tumor or to microorganisms such as bacteria or viruses. Immune responses may cause excess inflammation in the body and behavioral changes, such as depression, fatigue, pain, and problems with thinking and reasoning. Studying immune responses in patients with breast cancer who have undergone primary cancer treatment may help doctors learn whether physical fitness can protect the body from effects of immune system stress and whether it may be able to reduce health problems in patients with breast cancer.
To determine the safety and tolerability of orally administered hydroxychloroquine with hormonal therapy. To assess the response rate of hydroxychloroquine in combination with hormonal therapy.
This phase II trial studies how well trastuzumab emtansine works in treating older patients with human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-positive stage I-III breast cancer. HER2 is a protein found on the surface of cancer cells that helps them to grow and spread. Trastuzumab emtansine may kill cancer cells by binding to HER2-positive on the surface of the tumor cells and blocking their ability grow and spread.
Evaluate if the two carboplatin containing chemotherapy regimens will reduce the growth of breast cancer cells in women with Stage I, II, or III triple negative breast cancer.
This is a phase II, prospective, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, international (Spain and Sweden) and multicentre study to explore the safety of 0.005% estriol vaginal gel in women with early stage breast cancer in treatment with Non-Steroidal Aromatase Inhibitors (NSAIs) in the adjuvant setting and symptoms of vaginal atrophy.
