Filter by:This trial aims to evaluate the safety and efficacy of third-line or later irinotecan treatment for locally recurrent or metastatic breast cancer among Chinese patients who have received at least two regimens containing anthracyclines and taxanes.
This phase Ib trials studies the side effects and how well talimogene laherparepvec works when given together with chemotherapy or endocrine therapy in treating patients with breast cancer that does not express the human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) protein and has spread to other places in the body (metastatic), cannot be removed by surgery (unresectable), or has come back (recurrent). Biological therapies, such as talimogene laherparepvec, use substances made from living organisms that may attack specific tumor cells and stop them from growing or kill them. Chemotherapy drugs, such as nab-paclitaxel, gemcitabine, and carboplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Estrogen can cause the growth of breast cancer cells. Drugs used as endocrine therapy, such as letrozole, anastrozole, exemestane, tamoxifen or fulvestrant, may lessen the amount of estrogen made by the body or may may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking estrogen from connecting to the cancer cells. Giving talimogene laherparepvec with chemotherapy or endocrine therapy may work better in treating patients with HER2-negative breast cancer.
A Phase III trial of accelerated whole breast irradiation with hypofractionation plus concurrent boost versus standard whole breast irradiation plus sequential boost for early-stage breast cancer.
This pilot trial studies how well a diabetes prevention program with or without hunger training works in helping to lower breast cancer risk in obese participants. A diabetes prevention program involves learning about and receiving materials on different strategies to encourage weight loss, and hunger training involves learning how to recognize hunger. It is not yet known whether adding hunger training to a diabetes prevention program helps participants control their weight that could reduce the risk of some cancers.
This early phase I pilot trial studies how well 64Cu-DOTA-alendronate positron emission tomography (PET) imaging work in localizing and characterizing breast calcifications (small calcium deposits) in participants before undergoing mastectomy. Diagnostic procedures, such 64Cu-DOTA-alendronate PET, may detect calcification and help doctors predict cancer associated calcification within breast tissue.
The purpose of this study is to test the safety of a study drug called Rucaparib, administered in combination with the type of radiation therapy that is usually given to women with your form of breast cancer.
The purpose of this randomized phase III trial is to evaluate the clinical benefit of combining entinostat with exemestane in Chinese patients with HR-positive, HER2-negative, locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer, who have disease progression on endocrine therapy. Additionally, the safety, tolerability, and PK profile of the treatment combination are evaluated.
This trial studies histamine and bone pain association in participants with breast cancer that has spread to the bone. Studying histamine levels in samples of blood from participants with breast cancer in the laboratory may help doctors learn more about reducing cancer bone pain and preventing further bone metastasis.
This study is designed to compare the anti-tumor activity as well as the safety and efficacy of DS-8201a versus T-DM1 in HER2-positive, unresectable and/or metastatic breast cancer subjects previously treated with trastuzumab and taxane.
The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of a 6-months program of Adapted Physical Activity (APA) on lifestyle, physical activity levels, insulin resistance and adipokines, oxidative stress, microcirculatory haemodynamics and serum levels of specific circulating miRNA in post-menopausal, physically inactive breast cancer patients in oncologic follow-up with or without hormone therapy that had completed adjuvant treatment (radiotherapy and/or chemotherapy) . Furthermore, the study will determine the impact of APA on functional capabilities, on self-reported physical activity, quality of life and psychic health.
