Filter by:The purpose of this study is to assess the clinical outcomes and radiation of the use of off-the-shelf and custom-made devices (CMDs) for the endovascular repair of juxtarenal, suprarenal, thoracoabdominal and arch aortic aneurysms in patients having appropriate anatomy. The study consists of three cohorts. The first 2 cohorts are the continuation of the current IDE study. The first cohort is aimed to assess the use of custom-made devices (CMDs) for the endovascular repair of juxtarenal, suprarenal and type IV thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysms in standard and high-risk patients having appropriate anatomy (Fenestrated-CMD cohort). The second cohort (Type I-III thoracoabdominal cohort) includes standard and high-risk patients with type I- III thoracoabdominal aneurysms that require the use of branched/fenestrated CMDs, or, in selected cases, the Zenith Thoracoabdominal Branch (Zenith® t-Branch™) device. Finally, the third cohort (the Arch cohort) will include 25 high-risk patients with aortic arch aneurysms treated by patient-specific stent-grafts with one to three inner branches or a scallop
The primary objective of the study is to evaluate the acute safety of deploying and implanting the Altura Endograft in the treatment of AAA in subjects who are candidates for endovascular repair. Secondary objectives are to evaluate the acute and longer-term safety and performance of the Altura Endograft through 5 years.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate visceral function, after endovascular repair of thoracoabdominal aneurysms or ascending/aortic arch aneurysms.
The ACRIN 7151 trial will use medical records abstraction data from participants with extracolonic findings (ECFs) reported from the ACRIN 6664 National CT Colonography Trial to: 1) measure incidence of diagnostic imaging, hospitalization, and interventional procedures associated with ECFs reported on computed tomography colonography (CTC), delineated by type of ECF; 2) determine potential predictors of follow-up diagnostic imaging, hospitalization, and interventional procedures, delineated by type of ECF; and 3) evaluate the clinical/pathologic diagnoses associated with indeterminate but potentially significant ECFs. These data can be used to incorporate ECFs into existing models on the cost-effectiveness of CTC in colorectal cancer screening and can potentially be used to develop guidelines for the reporting and management of ECFs.
Male subjects, 65 years of age, living in Oslo, Norway will be invited to be screened for abdominal aortic aneurysm.
This is a prospective observational registry with intent to detect the prevalence of intracranial aneurysms with contrast-enhanced MR angiography (CE-MRA) at 1.5T, and to determine the risk factors such as high blood pressure and cigarette smoking relating to intracranial aneurysms.
