NCT ID: NCT06260800 Recruiting - Validation Study Clinical Trials

Spanish Version of Credibility and Expectancy Questionnaire in Patients With Musculoskeletal Injuries

Start date: January 8, 2024
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Physiotherapy treatment of musculoskeletal injuries should be performed following the main clinical guidelines of person-centered care. Patients' perception of the abilities and facilities provided by physiotherapists boost a convenient therapeutic relationship. This relation is linked with more satisfaction and adherence during the treatment, as well as credibility and expectancy of the patient related to the treatment. Thus, Credibility and Expectancy questionnaire is normally used to assess that point. CEQ presents good psychometric properties when used in Physisiotherapy interventions, but there is not a spanish version of this questionaire.

NCT ID: NCT05883839 Recruiting - Sexuality Clinical Trials

Turkish Validity and Reliability Study of the "Sexual Health Care Questionnaire"

Start date: April 28, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Determining the knowledge, attitudes and self-efficacy of nursing students in the field of sexual health care is important for the development and planning of nursing education and research. There is no Turkish tool in the literature that will enable a comprehensive assessment of nursing students' knowledge, attitudes and self-efficacy towards sexual health care. The aim of the study is to determine the validity and reliability of the Turkish version of the three scales (knowledge, attitude, self-efficacy) in the "Sexual Healthcare Questionnaire" for nursing students. This is a methodological study. These scales translated into Turkish language. Data will be collected in April 2023 through an online questionnaire from nursing students at a public university in Turkey. The test-retest will be performed again after 4 weeks. At least 310 participants from 2nd and 3rd year nursing students will be included in the study.

NCT ID: NCT05831215 Not yet recruiting - Disability Physical Clinical Trials

Italian Version of the Modified Barthel Index

Start date: June 15, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This study aims to develop and validate the Italian version of the modified Barthel Index (mBI-Italian), through the following steps: - translation of the mBI into Italian, by using the froward-backward translation approach, to produce a pre-final mBI-Italian - pre-pilot testing of the pre-final mBI-Italian in a sample of ten health professionals (physicians and physiotherapists), ten subjects who had a stroke, and 10 caregivers, i.e. subjects who take care of a person who had a stroke. All participants will be asked to judge the clarity of each item of the scale, including scoring instructions - evaluation of the metric properties (internal consistency, inter- and intra-rater reliability, validity and responsiveness) of the final mBI-Italian in a sample of subjects admitted to the Don Gnocchi Foundation in Florence for rehabilitation after stroke

NCT ID: NCT05828160 Not yet recruiting - Disability Physical Clinical Trials

Italian Version of the Motricity Index

Start date: May 15, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This study aims to develop and validate the Italian version of the Motricity Index (MI-Italian), through the following steps: - translation of the MI into Italian, by using the forward-backward translation approach, to produce a pre-final MI-Italian - pre-pilot testing of the pre-final MI-Italian in a sample of ten health professionals (physicians and physiotherapists), who will be asked to judge the clarity of each item of the MI, including scoring instructions, to produce a final MI-Italian - evaluation of the metric properties (internal consistency, inter- and intra-rater reliability, validity and responsiveness) of the final MI-Italian in a sample of subjects admitted to the Don Gnocchi Foundation in Florence for rehabilitation after stroke.

NCT ID: NCT05600530 Completed - Validation Study Clinical Trials

Validity and Reproducibility of Dietary Assessment Against Objective Measures

VALID
Start date: October 31, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

A cross-sectional study with repeated measurements among healthy Danish adults to assess the validity and reproducibility of a self-administered 7-day web-based dietary assessment tool, myfood24® tested against objective biomarkers.

NCT ID: NCT05386836 Completed - Validation Study Clinical Trials

The Sunrise SpO2 and Pulse Rate Accuracy Validation Study

S2-SOPRAV
Start date: May 24, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the SpO2 accuracy performance of the Sunrise Sensor 2 placed at the tip of the chin during non-motion conditions over the range of 70-100% by comparison to SaO2 values determined from arterial blood sample specimen analyzed by a CO-oximeter. Testing is conducted under normal office environment conditions. It is expected that the Accuracy Root Mean Square (ARMS) performance of the oximetry system will meet the required specification of ARMS of 3.5% or less allowed for reflectance technology in non-motion conditions for the range of 70-100% SaO2. A secondary goal is to evaluate the pulse rate performance simultaneously collected over the SpO2 range covered.

NCT ID: NCT04299659 Completed - Validation Study Clinical Trials

Comparison of Four Methods for Entering the Gap Position of Landolt Cs

LC_Entry
Start date: July 22, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The aim of this study is to investigate and compare the validity of four different input methods for Landolt Cs, i.e. the proportion of correct gap positions in relation to the total number of performances. The four input methods are a numeric keypad, an eight-positions rocker switch, a remote control and voice feedback.

InBody Validation Study

InBody
Start date: December 2015
Phase:
Study type: Observational

With, one in three Americans now having a body mass index (BMI) greater than 30, and the fastest growing segment of the population having a BMI greater than 40, it is paramount to conduct validation of approaches to measure body composition. Currently the dual-energy x-ray absorptiometry (iDXA) is the gold standard for measuring the body composition. But it is often difficult to perform since it is limited to specific height, weight and BMI's. InBody is a tool which uses bio electric impedance to measure the body composition. This study will compare both approaches. Validation is necessary as it is clinically quite pertinent to accurately assess a patients' body fat percentage, fat free mass, and total body water and changes that are occurring with nutritional support.
