Filter by:This will be an open-label, prospective, single-centre, randomised, controlled, parallel-group medical device investigation. The investigational plan will include four visits in total at the investigational site. One visit (Visit 2) will consist in the hospitalisation period and will last 3/4 days. Patients will be admitted to hospital in the day preceding the TURBT (Day -1; in case the TURBT is programmed in the morning) or in the day of the TURBT (Day 0; in case the TURBT is programmed in the afternoon) and will stay in the hospital for 3/4 days after the intervention (performed on Day 0). Patients will then be discharged, if considered as appropriate based on Investigator's judgment, following the removal of the catheter and the first clear urination. Patients will be asked to remain in the same geographic area of the investigational site up to the end of study visit.
The purpose of this study is to learn about the safety and effects of the study medicine (called avelumab) for the treatment of advanced bladder cancer. This study is including participants who: - Participated in the Canadian avelumab patient support program - Have been diagnosed with advanced bladder cancer - Have been treated with platinum-based chemotherapy without their disease progressing All participants in this study have previously received avelumab first-line maintenance for the treatment of their advanced bladder cancer. Pfizer will examine the experiences of people receiving the study medicine. This will help determine the efficacy and safety of the study medicine for the treatment of bladder cancer.
This ambispective (both retrospective and prospective) NIS will evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Avelumab as a maintenance therapy administered after completion of first-line platinum-based chemotherapy in patients with locally advanced or metastatic urothelial cancer under routine conditions of daily clinical practice in Argentina and Brazil in line with the approved Avelumab label indication. Primary objective: • To evaluate overall survival (OS) rate at 12 and 24- months after the index date (date of the first Avelumab administration) in patients treated with Avelumab maintenance therapy. Secondary objectives: • To assess OS in patients treated with Avelumab maintenance therapy. To assess progression-free survival (PFS) of patients treated with Avelumab maintenance therapy. • To evaluate safety and tolerability of Avelumab maintenance therapy. • To assess duration of treatment (DOT) between the first and last dose of avelumab. • To describe the clinical and demographics characteristics of Argentinean and Brazilian patients treated with Avelumab maintenance therapy. Other objectives: • To evaluate anti-tumor effectiveness of Avelumab maintenance therapy.
A Phase I/IIa First-in-human, Open-label Study to Evaluate the Safety, Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacodynamics, and Preliminary Efficacy of AZD8853 in Participants with Selected Advanced/Metastatic Solid Tumours.
This first-in-human study evaluates safety, tolerability and distribution of [225Ac] FPI-1966, [111In]-FPI-1967, and vofatamab in patients with FGFR3-expressing solid tumors.
The C2i-WGS-MRD Test (hereinafter referred to as C2i-Test), a personalized molecular circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) test, is an in vitro qualitative test that uses next generation sequencing (NGS) based whole-genome sequencing (WGS) data for detecting molecular residual disease (MRD) in patients diagnosed with muscle-invasive bladder cancer (MIBC) and histopathologically classified as stage II-IIIA. The C2i-Test is a single site assay performed in the C2i Genomics' CLIA-certified laboratory. This is a prospective non-interventional study to collect definitive evidence of the safety and effectiveness of C2i-Test for the intended use, in a statistically justified number of subjects.
This is a first in human, multicenter, open label, Phase 1a and 1b dose-escalation and dose-expansion study to establish the maximum tolerated dose, recommended Phase 2 dose, and evaluate the safety and tolerability of QD oral dosing of HC 7366 in a dose escalating fashion in subjects with advanced solid tumors. Up to 40 subjects will be enrolled into the Phase 1a dose-escalation part of the study. The study will be conducted in the United States at approximately 7 to 10 sites. Every effort will be made to ensure approximately 50% of all subjects enrolled into Phase 1a of this study are subjects with the tumors of special interest including squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck, colorectal cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, and transitional cell carcinoma of the bladder. Subjects with other solid tumor types are also eligible provided study selection criteria are met and they do not exceed 50% of all enrolled subjects. All subjects in Phase 1b will enroll with clear cell renal cell carcinoma. The Phase 1a study will follow a traditional 3+3 design. The starting dose level will be 10 mg QD, escalating to 20, 40, 75, 125, and 150 mg QD as safety allows. All doses are to be administered in the fasting state with water at least 1 hour before food or at least 2 hours after food. The Phase 1b dose-expansion will be at a single dose level of 75 mg based on the safety, tolerability, PK/PD results from Phase 1a to obtain additional safety and preliminary efficacy information. At the discretion of the safety monitoring committee and sponsor, the cohort may be expanded to enroll additional patients and/ or 1-2 additional cohorts will be opened. Up to 30 subjects may be enrolled in the Phase 1b portion of the study at the 75 mg dose. Replacement patients will be enrolled if necessary. Subjects will be dosed until unacceptable toxicity, disease progression per immune-related Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors, discontinuation of treatment for other protocol allowed reason (eg, subject refusal), any other administrative reasons, or after 2 years of treatment, whichever occurs first. For scheduling purposes, dosing in Phase 1a and 1b will occur in 3 week cycles and computed tomography scans will be conducted once every 6 weeks from Cycle 1/Day 1, with the first postbaseline scan after 6 weeks of dosing (precycle 3) until confirmed disease progression, death, start of new anticancer therapy, withdrawal of consent, or end of study, whichever occurs first.
Bladder cancers are associated with genetic mutations that are present in the patient's bladder or urothelium, the lining of the lower urinary tract. Fibroblast growth factor (FGFR) alterations are present in approximately one in five patients with recurrent and refractory bladder cancer. This study will collect biomarker data from subjects receiving erdafitinib to further investigate the relationship between treatment with erdafitinib and clinical response, progression, and/or genetic alterations.
This is a Phase 2, multicenter, randomized, open-label study evaluating the safety and efficacy of trilaciclib administered with platinum-based chemotherapy followed by trilaciclib administered with avelumab maintenance therapy compared with platinum-based chemotherapy followed by avelumab maintenance therapy in patients receiving first-line treatment for advanced/metastatic bladder cancer.
Patients with suspected bladder tumor will undergo novel 4D MRI imaging along with single cell RNA sequencing in hopes of identifying a radiogenomic signature that can improve our staging of patients with muscle invasive bladder cancer.
