Lianhua Qingwen for the Rehabilitation of Patient With Coronavirus Infection

The patients with coronavirus infection usually have fever, respiratory symptoms, headache, toothache, muscle soreness, physical decline, and so on, while others are asymptomatic patients. It is urgent to find drugs to improve the long-term rehabilitation of symptomatic patients with coronavirus infection and decrease the duration of viral shedding in both symptomatic and asymptomatic patients. This study aims to investigate the efficacy and safety of Lianhua Qingwen capsules in patients with coronavirus infection. The duration of viral shedding and symptoms before discharge, as well as the negative conversion ratio and disappearance ratio of main symptoms after 7-day treatment, will be evaluated. 6-month follow-up will be performed to evaluate the effect of Lianhua Qingwen on all infection events and the long-term rehabilitation of the symptoms induced by coronavirus infection.

This study aims to investigate the efficacy and safety of Lianhua Qingke tablets in patients with Omicron infection. 1. Through research and analysis, the levels of upstream and downstream factors related to TGF-β/Smad signaling pathway and inflammatory response factor related factors in serum, blood cells, articular fluid, urine, tongue covering and discarded tissues after surgery of patients with LKD syndrome and PBS syndrome of knee osteoarthritis were obtained, and the syndrome characteristics were further obtained. 2. Through research and analysis, the index levels of multiple omics detection in serum, blood cells, joint fluid, urine, tongue coating and discarded tissues of patients with LKD syndrome and PBS syndrome of knee osteoarthritis were obtained, and the syndrome characteristics were further obtained. 3. The severity of syndrome was quantified by syndrome score scale and the correlation between the above results and the syndrome score of patients with knee osteoarthritis with LKD syndrome and PBS syndrome was studied in combination with imaging characteristics. 4. To establish a "disease and syndrome cell model" and test relevant indicators to support the above research. 5. Through the analysis of the above research results, the possible mechanism is analyzed to provide an objective basis for the biological basis of the syndrome and relevant evidence for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of knee osteoarthritis with traditional Chinese medicine.

Clinical epidemiological investigation and modern statistics will be used. Syndrome was quantified by TCM syndrome score scale. Metabonomics, proteomics, transcriptomics, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, xanthine oxidation method and thiobarbital method will be used to detect the relevant indicators in serum, urine and tongue coating, and "disease syndrome cell model" will be constructed to detect the relevant indicators. Objective to clarify the epigenetic basis, molecular biological regulation mechanism and core function characteristics of phgdh expression decline caused by PDR and SKYD of dyslipidemia, analyze the correlation between phgdh, serine metabolic pathway product concentration and oxidative stress level, and reveal the scientific connotation of the disease syndrome.

A Series of N-of-1 Trials of Traditional Chinese Medicine Based on Bayesian Method

The guiding role of parallel randomized controlled trials in clinical practice is limited due to the insufficiency of individual information. Our previous studies showed that Single case randomized controlled trials (referred to as N-of-1 trials) could reflect the individualized characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome differentiation with good feasibility, but the sensitivity was low. This study aims to compare the efficacy of treatment based on syndrome differentiation with controlled decoctions (placebo, and the method of strengthening the body resistance and removing phlegm) among patients with stable bronchiectasis through a series of N-of-1 trials (single-patient, double-blind, randomized, multiple crossover design), with the 7 point-likert scale of the most concerned symptoms as the main outcome. Hierarchical Bayesian statistical methods and some parameters and variables will be introduced, such as TCM syndrome type, potential residue effect of TCM, etc. The sensitivity and applicability of various mathematical models (Hierarchical Bayesian, paired t-test and Meta-analysis) for N-of-1 trials of TCM will be tested, for the purpose of improving the sensitivity and applicability of N-of-1 trials of TCM both on individual and group levels.

We hypothesize that with aid of topical chinese herbal medicine in addition to oral analgesics can be more beneficial in treating post traumatic injury, launching early mobilization, and enhancing fracture healing process.
