Depression, Experiential Diversity, and Behavioral Novelty

Depression, Experiential Diversity, and Behavioral Novelty: A Mobile Sensing Experimental Paradigm

The purpose of the study is to test whether changes in behavioral patterns are related to changes in depression. Depression is a psychological condition that involves persistent sad mood and/or an inability to enjoy pleasurable activities. Very stable behavioral patterns may be related to symptoms of depression. The aim of this study is to learn more about the relationship between symptoms of depression and behavioral patterns that are collected via GPS (global positioning system) location data from a smartphone.

LIVES: Personalized Lifestyle Intervention for Patients With Depression - LIVES

LIVES: Development of/a Personalized Lifestyle Intervention for Patients With Depression in Psychiatric Outpatient Care and General Practice in a Pilot Study

Persons with affective disorder have a considerably increased risk of cardiovascular disease. To a considerable extent, this is due to an unhealthy life style. At present, no adequate lifestyle interventions are available for these patients. In the present pilot intervention study we study the acceptability and feasibility of a newly developed lifestyle intervention that is specifically tailored to the needs of patients with affective disorders treated in mental health care or general practice.

Clinical Study of the Treatment of Chiari Malformation Combined With Type II Skull Base Depression

Clinical Study of Atlanto-occipital Decompression Lateral Joint Release Combined With Occipital-neck Fusion in the Treatment of Chiari Malformation Combined With Type II Skull Base Depression

The research background of this study is that Chiari malformation (CM) is a congenital malformation in the foramen magnum region, often associated with syringomyelia, basilar depression, odontoid dislocation and other craniocervical junction deformities. The traditional surgical method for Chiari malformation with skull basilar depression is simple decompression without fixation, so it cannot effectively maintain the stability of the cervical spine and reduce the compression of the brainstem and cervical cord, often resulting in poor curative effect and aggravated symptoms. The cervical spine is the most flexible and most mobile part of the spine, and the instability of the cervical spine will directly affect the quality of life of patients after surgery. Subsequently, with the continuous advancement of technology and the continuous development and improvement of surgical methods, Investigators can relieve spinal cord compression by using atlanto-occipital decompression and dissection followed by C1/2 lateral arthrolysis combined with occipitocervical fusion. So, is this surgical combination the most effective surgery for patients with Chiari malformation and type II skull basilar depression? How should doctors adjust to the best surgical approach to treat patients with Chiari malformation and type II skull basilar depression? These questions have long puzzled neurosurgeons. By conducting this research, investigators hope that participants can participate in it, and work with them to answer this question, and jointly promote the development and progress of doctors' careers, while benefiting more patients.

Relationship Between Stress, Anxiety, Depression, Sexual Function and Marital Adjustment in Nurses

Relationship Between Stress, Anxiety, Depression, Sexual Function and Marital Adjustment in Nurses

One of the factors that increase harmony in marriage is sexual life and sexual satisfaction (Erdinç, 2018). Sexual intercourse is one of the pillars of a successful family; accordingly, functionality in this area greatly affects marital adjustment (Atrian, 2018). Studies show an important relationship between sexual adjustment and marital adjustment (Türkseven et al., 2020; Begdeş, 2021). Negative workplace factors such as occupational stress and long working hours affect the physical and mental states of nurses (Oyeleye et al., 2013; Chesak et al., 2019). This study was planned to determine the relationship between stress, anxiety, depression, sexual function and marital adjustment in nurses.
