Filter by:This intervention study using the Stroke Riskometer Apps as health promotion and disease prevention tools for the stroke prevention. Study will specifically target the young adult population (18-50 years old) who are the population at risk for young stroke. The study will determine the effectiveness of Stroke Riskometer Apps by assessing the awareness (knowledge, perception of stroke risk and intention to change behaviours) using the translated ABCD risk questionnaire and stroke risk probability using Stroke Riskometer Apps.
Investigators will evaluate the safety, tolerability, and feasibility of a risk-guided cardioprotective treatment strategy with carvedilol, as compared to usual care, in breast cancer patients undergoing treatment with doxorubicin, trastuzumab, or the combination.
This study assesses whether people's cardiovascular risk influences cognitive performance in later years. To do this, the cardiovascular risk and cognitive performance of each patient will be evaluated at the beginning of the study and 5 years later.
The purpose of this multicentre, prospective, observational study is to identify robust biochemical markers that predict adverse cardiovascular outcomes and mortality in patients undergoing major abdominal surgery.
