Filter by:The purpose of this study is to compare the efficacy, prognosis, health economics of different treatment modalities of mid-low rectal cancer in different centers in China, and to conduct cost utility analysis (CUA) on the treatment process of rectal cancer to explore the best treatment modality that meets the actual need of medical units in each region and at each level. The investigators hope to provide evidence-based medical suggestions for medical quality control of rectal cancer and revision of clinical guidelines, and provides a source of decision making for medical management and medical insurance.
A Single-arm phase II trial evaluating induction chemotherapy with FOLFIRINOXm followed by short course radiotherapy (RT) in locally advanced rectal carcinoma
The goal of this clinical trial is to see, if addition of chlorophyllin to neoadjuvant Chemo-radiotherapy can reduce the gastro-intestinal/genitourinary/hematological toxicity rates and improve the quality of life in patient's diagnosed with locally advanced rectal cancer. This is a randomized placebo control trial, wherein participants randomized to Chlorophyllin arm will receive the drug of interest along with the standard treatment. Participants randomized to other arm will receive placebo along with the standard treatment. Researchers will compare the difference between the outcomes from both the arms and will also observe the non-operative management success rates.
This study is a prospective, randomized, open, controlled, multi-center phase II clinical trial, which included patients with locally advanced low rectal cancer as the research object, and evaluated the application of long-term concurrent chemoradiotherapy combined with tislelizumab versus long-term synchronous Efficacy and safety of chemotherapy and radiotherapy as neoadjuvant therapy for patients with locally advanced rectal cancer. The main endpoints of the study were clinical complete response (cCR) (including imaging and endoscopic complete response) and pathological complete response (pathological complete response, pCR). Secondary study endpoints are primary pathological response rate (MPR), objective response rate (ORR), disease-free survival (DFS), overall survival (OS), organ preservation rate (OPR), rectal cancer neoadjuvant therapy score (NAR ), quality of life score (QoL), safety and tolerability. They will be randomly divided into an experimental group (tislelizumab combined with long-term concurrent chemoradiotherapy) and a control group (long-term concurrent chemoradiotherapy) at a ratio of 2:1. Random stratification factors: 1. TNM stage (II/III); 2. Distance from the tumor to the anal verge (≥5cm, <5cm).
Rectal cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors, with 9% to 23% of patients experiencing pelvic sidewall lymph node metastasis. According to the current Chinese guidelines for diagnosing and treating colorectal cancer, pelvic sidewall lymph node dissection is recommended for patients who have experienced or are suspected of having lateral lymph node metastasis. Lateral lymph node dissection can result in longer operation times, increased bleeding, and complications such as urinary and sexual dysfunction after surgery. Currently, the presence of metastasis is primarily determined by the size and enhancement characteristics of lateral lymph nodes observed through imaging studies. However, the pathological lymph node metastasis rate of specimens collected after lateral lymph node dissection based on current imaging criteria is only 20.5%. Therefore, a pressing clinical challenge is accurately determining the presence of lateral lymph node metastasis and avoiding unnecessary lateral lymph node dissection in patients who have not experienced lateral lymph node metastasis. Sentinel lymph node biopsy has been widely used in clinical practice. It has replaced traditional lymph node dissection in some breast cancer and melanoma patients, reducing surgical risks and complications and improving patients' quality of life. This study aims to use indocyanine green as a tracer for fluorescence-guided laparoscopic navigation to locate the lateral sentinel lymph nodes of rectal cancer in the pelvic cavity. By studying the accuracy, specificity, and false-negative rate of predicting lateral lymph node status using the sentinel lymph node, we can further clarify the clinical significance of the lateral sentinel lymph node.
This study investigates the potential benefit of re-irradiation of patients with locally advanced rectal recurrences, by a prospective phase II clinical, imaging and translational research study.
This is a two-arm, open label, randomized phase II clinical study. The aim is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of Cadonilimab (a PD-1/CTLA-4 bispecific antibody) combined with XELOX regimen in pMMR locally advanced rectal cancer during the perioperative period. Eligible patients will receive either Cadonilimab plus XELOX or XELOX alone for 4 cycles before and 4 cycles after surgery. The primary endpoint is the pathological complete response rate.

This single-center, randomized, double-blind, single-dose, parallel phase I study of Ramucirumab injection versus Cyramza ® in healthy male volunteers was designed to evaluate the similarities in pharmacokinetics, tolerance, safety and immunogenicity of Ramucirumab and CYRAMZA®.
